Bought these and the 46CSC8934 6x9 4 years ago for my 1998 civic bought a 2021 tacoma and the speakers fit so I'm putting them on my Tacoma next weekend. These sounded awesome in my civic so I'm hoping the same on the Tacoma.
I'm sure they'll sounds great in the Taco! Higher quality cars with more sound deadening can control the speakers frequency production better, so the speakers will probably do even better in the Taco. I had a Set of Massive Audio ZK6 components that went from a towncar to a Sentra, and they sounds far less amazing for the same reason.
Kicker is a budget powerhouse. Most of my cars have had Kicker and then upgraded them to BOSS, AP, etc. Then i just give away the kicker to anyone who want them. But they are really good and durable
but how do they do w/hu power? The DS series is not really advertised anymore and these CS seems to be the new "entry-level Kickers. The KS-series need an amp and don't do well running off the hu.
@@K03sport they would love more power for sure, and the head unit runs out of steam quick, but it still sounds good. I’d bet they’d sound even better in a tighter car with better padding
