The professionalism and CRM on this flight was AMAZING !!!! I have my Commercial (ASEL) Checkride on 6/3/21. This video is inspiring! Thanks for the content !!!
This is so cool to watch other people fly such cool planes. We are all jealous. I will just sit here and pretend with a simulator instead for now haha.

I don’t see intercooler scoops, is this not a turbo. Just wondering if your having blown cylinders and cracked case problems as RAM iv engines are very famous for.
Hello Ian, first of all, congrats for your video very very professional crew. I m from Uruguay South American and I fly a C414A too in a taxi company and I need to ask you something thar call my attention, inmediately after the startup, the mixture is reduced in both engines, can you tell me something about that procedure? Because I don t ever applied before. Thank you!

Ok so here's the guy who actually does checklists, not just reads them out loud. I wish there were more pilots like this.
I watch this video once a month. Wish there more more like it.

@@IanMastenbrook94 Where can I learn pro crew discipline like this? I see it on airlines but don’t learn it in part 91 training it seems.
Damn that thing's dash looks like a spaceship.
Good job. Looks like you're flying out of S50.

if it is a 414, it is a turbocharged engine. But don't let reality change your viewpoint.
"Blown cylinders and cracked case problems as RAM IV engines are very famous for"...sounds like someone who's never been anywhere near a RAM engine.
@@s4aviator804 yup, or someone who doesn't understand the theory of shock cooling.

You want to lean the mixture for ground operations to prevent fouling the spark plugs
@@IanMastenbrook94 Thanks for your answer Ian, I will take into account.
@@IanMastenbrook94 How do you determine how lean it should be for ground operation?
@@mrmisterno1 It should cause an increase in RPM
