Andy you have no idea how much joy it brings me to see you use an actual power tool!

      😂
Is it actually annoying that I DON'T use power tools?

I'll put it on my list for Santa, and do my best to be good all year.

I feel like we can all pool funds together and act as a Santa here.😆

I just found your channel. This build is of particular interest to me. I recently got a Nissan Bluebird U11 to rebuild with very little knowledge. This is all the inspiration i need!

      Take plenty of photos.
Dive as deep as you feel comfortable on a task, then put it back together.
If you have to go back in to the same task to get to something deeper into the job, you'll already have the practice of getting that first part off and back on again with success.
      You got this!

Hey Colin, thanks for the tip! I am subscribed to TBR but didn't know about the parts car he just obtained. Might have to send him a message.....

Are the venturis too big? Not enough airspeed?

The jets are sized to suit the 1600.
The car will run perfectly once the weber is fitted.
These 32/36 carbs are designed to be used on engines between 1200cc and 2300cc, and have been used for decades on Datsun 1600s (or 510s), Stanzas, Celicas, Corollas, Ford Escorts (The list goes on to be honest).
Once the correct sized idle jets, main jets, and air correctors are fitted to suit the engine they are going on, these carbs work solidly and reliably.
