23:37 Preach geoff preach. Couldnt agree more with phones at concerts. Take pics before, after, or in the bathroom but leave the concert as a concert (unless they say take videos, just keep the brightness down)
I like taking concert photography as a hobby, but I also get overstimulated being in the pit, so I end up not remembering much of what goes on because I'm just trying to survive in the moment 😅 So taking a bunch of photos also helps me recall things later. And I get to have certain moments that I find eyecatching captured forever.
For the record about the month thing, it's January and February that shifted the remaining months forward, hence why they're not aligned. The Roman calendar had 10 months, with the winter days being unassigned until those two months were named to account for that time. And yes, this is something I looked up because the answer I had for a long time turned out to be mistaken.
Though I also read an inaccurate take that July and August were inserted and named after Julius and Augustus Caesar, which isn't true (yours is correct) but does allow the joke: "Ugh, whoever decided September, October, November and December shouldn't be the 7th-10th months should be stabbed!" "Well do I have some news for you!"
The months are wonky because there used to be only 10 months in the calendar year but Jan and Feb were added to the roman calendar in Honor of Julius and Augustus. (July and August renamed)
Gavin the months are misnamed/numbered because several romans decided to name months after themselves and inserted those months between the others ! Its mot super interesting but it is interesting enough to google
July and August used to be Quintilis and Sextilis, which would've been five and six respectively. Renaming the months didn't change the order, they just happen to be names that survived the numerous iterations on the calendar between when it was conceived and now. January and February were the two months added to the front of the calendar which shifted order of the rest of the months.
You absolutely want to come back as a bald eagle. Not only are you top of the food chain, you're protected by us law, so you're safe from humans, which is the biggest factor.
I went to the Aerosmith concert in Pittsburgh and I recorded a lot of it because it’s their final tour and I want to have those memories forever it was a day ago and i I’ve been re-watching those clips and I barely posted on social media. I also recorded on Snapchat because my iCloud storage is full and like I said I want to keep the memories forever and Snapchat backs it up and Snapchat takes lower quality but still good quality videos compared to the camera that comes with your iPhone so it takes us less storage
I hope geoff reads this but I do go back and view old concert videos. I love reliving the memory because I can both film and pay attention to the concert at the same time. I mean I understand it being rude to the people around that's why I try not to bother anyone else.
I don't know why we need to be the victim of a tidal wave here in NZ, Gavin... Anecdotally, in 2011 the Foo Fighters' Auckland concert actually registered earthquake-level tremors
I hope Andrew sees this... KANGAROO IS THE BEST MEAT TO EAT EVER!!! Absolutely delicious but just dont eat too much otherwise you'll end up on the toilet for the rest of the day. 🤣😂
My sister who is a scientist told me that if they introduce other varieties of potatoes into Ireland that would have prevented the great Irish potato famine. Also colonialation:/ That's my potato fact. Anyone else??
As an aside, recording during a concert can be detrimental to everyone’s experience nearby, BUT emerging musicians do benefit from social media posts with clips from the show. Recording an entire show is unnecessary tho

You can tell Gavin is a proper cat owner. Because every single cat owner has looked at their cats and thought 'god, I am so jealous of your life...'
The regulation vegetation start was a masterpiece. Best part of my week always
Do an egg draft and have Andrew decide the winner! (Presumably after he's eaten the eggs)

22 now and grew up eating potato smiles all through elementary school. I remember genuinely missing them when my middle school didn't serve them.

I grew fingerling potatoes for the first time this year. Very rewarding.
Did you use chitted store fingerlings or seed potatoes? I wanted to try this year but was too busy

I'm blaming Eric for the video being way out of sync with the audio.
Didn't want to resort to calling him it but this is an absolute Gooch pooch problem
Seeing Geoff gag on his potato smile before hearing it felt like I had whip lash 💀
It's very F**KFACE to not sync up Geoff's video of him eating the potato smiles with the audio track.
Grew up around where Eric did, never heard of potato smiles till this podcast
4:03 this is the plot to Runaway Bride
I’ve been waiting for someone to suggest exactly this ever since the first time Andrew said he’d never had eggs
Those potato smiles are my favorite but my local walmart refuses to carry them. They were at HEB for a month or two but quickly disappeared.

Hunts ketchup is the absolute worst ketchup, try it out
I think Andrew would enjoy diced potatoes cooked first then mixed with egg. Staple breakfast in a poor household
Drench that in sriracha and that's what I lived on for breakfast for a few years
As long as he doesn't personally cook it because he would salad cream it and use it as an excuse to never do it again.
