He eventually explained that Norris should have been picked up by the safety car and came out in 7th place after pitting which is correct but there is no threat or investigation. It’s racing a sh!t happens.

a Fia investigation, Masi being fired, rules being changed/ clarified.
compare that to Miami's 24 SC blunder:
no investigation, Wittich is still race director (already active in Imola), no rule changes/clarifications..
to me it shows what influence drivers/circumstances have on something that should be as blind as lady justice > the rules.

Totally agree with @ gabrielrinkes7698 If Lando should have this victory taken away for an FIA error then Max should have his first title removed.when teams, drivers venues make mistakes they are punished in one form or other. When the governing body makes such result changing mistakes, the drivers and teams feel the pain. Who do the FIA answer too.
You don't get it don't you.. if the FIA should do what is right, they should make Singapore invalid, making Massa the Worldchampion, then make Abu Dhabi 2021 invalid, making Max Verstappen the champ, because he had more victories.. Toto knew about this.. that is why mercedes didn't push through with the protest..
I said this, I don'ttake anything away from Lando, but this moment is what secured his victory, a cock up by the safety car. when the safety car was deployed max was 11 seconds behind lando, a pit wold have cost him 11 seconds, but the pack should have been backed up by then and norris would have been further behind. I want norris to win behind Max, Norris is my 2nd favouite driver but this is another blunder by the FIA.

Max’s race win, and his championship, should have been reversed within hours of the race. A few more of these incidents and F1 is going to start looking as ridiculous as 9:54 NASCAR with its continuous waving of yellow flags to manipulate their races.

Typical clickbait to undermine a victory that was done fair and square. People are talking about luck with the SC forgetting so many events that happened before even the safety car. If Perez took out both Red Bulls at the first turn then we would be talking about a Mclaren or Ferrari 1-2. Then we have the bollard that Max hit which had potential to end his race. Or Perez coming in bounds again illegally without watching causing Lando hitting the brakes and costing him a battle with Max at the start. Max would have been in a battle against the fully upgraded Mclaren instead of the half upgraded one. In all these situations Max came out unscathed out of pure luck.
