Austin singing “Thinking Out Loud” seemed to be Reilly’s inner voice. And then at the switch, Tim seemed to be covering McKenzie’s inner voice. It makes an interesting juxtaposition with Tim representing the woman’s POV.
These guys are just the best at doing mashup songs. Prefer this over Ed Sheeran's version. Austin does a great job of the song & Tim's bass voice is perfect for the Marvin Gaye song. But he can surprise you with his high notes too. Love Adam's vocal percussion as always. The cute couple in this video are "The Hound & The Fox". You should also check out their music. They have collaborated with different Home Free members.
It wasn’t a sample, it was an accusation of direct copying. And yes he won the case. I love Tim in this one. From the wah-wah’s at the beginning to the way he covers “Let’s get it on”. Yum.
Yes, these are the two songs that were at the heart of the litigation between Sheeran and Gaye's estate. The Hound + The Fox (Reilly & McKenzie Zamber), at that time, owned FifGen, who did a lot of the early videos for Home Free. They later sold FifGen. H+F has done several collabs with Adam Chance and Tim Foust. They also make a cameo in Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer video by Home.
They have 3 singers that are from the south but Austin his accent is very strong Austin ( 1st Lead ) Tifton Georgia now lives outside Nashville Tennessee Tim Foust ( 2nd Lead )Nederland Texas now lives near Nashville Tennessee Adam Chance Aka Chance ( not in this video ) Baldwin County,Alabama now lives In Los Angeles, California Rob Lundquist (beard and glasses) from Brooklyn Park ,Minnesota Chris and Adam Rupp Mankato Minnesota. Chris left in 2016
You're right - last year Marvin Gaye's estate lost (or Ed Sheeran won, depending on your perspective). I love that they've put the two together - they sound fantastic. The couple in the video (Riley & Kenzie) are married in real life and sing as "The Hound & The Fox. For other mash-ups check out "Country Fried Pop Medley", "Alabama Sampler" or the "Hunter Hayes Medley". Love from a Canadian subscriber & happy Thanksgiving (ours is Oct. 9).
Just a suggestion you might want to make a homefree playlist. Great reaction. They have some fun songs they have some Christmas songs. They have a few funny songs
HF , the best of the best!!
They did a great job with this one. Tim's range always amazes me. Thanks for the reactions to Home Free!
I think the couple in the video are a duo named The Hound and the Fox, and they’ve been in several collaborations with Home Free

Yum is the right word for Tim's part here Itzel. Well, for Tim in general.. And Austin just about outsang himself. 😂 .........❤ HomeFree ❤
Also, Sheeran wrote Thinking out Loud...he wasn't sampling or covering anybody. Ed's song. I enjoyed your reaction.

Great video, starring Hound + Fox, with soundtrack by Home Free! Austin and Tim did a great job with their leads in this mashup. HF is special.

Good morning my friend
How are you.
I think there were common chord progressions. But using even the same chord progressions doesn’t mean there are copyright infringements👍
The video was shot all in one take.
