It's been amazing watching you go from absolute beginner, to making and wearing beautiful garments!!! Wow! Someday I will be brave and start my own learning journey.
Gorgeous makes! I got back into crochet last year, and really enjoyed the ease of taking the project around with me and watching it grow. Your knitting podcasts last year were always really inspiring and it was great to see all the makes again. Agreed, love your green sweater!!
Lovely makes. I was totally influenced by you and cast on the Mini Mock Neck tank right after you did. It wasn't even on my radar but I saw yours and just loved it. You're right, it was a joy to sew, especially after a few projects that just were not working out.
I made 6 sweaters last year :) 1 bolero and 1 quickly feather and fan cardi that I have barely worn, but 1 pulliver and 2 cardigans that I wear often, plus 1 more cardigan that I just barely finished on December 30th, so I havent really had a chance to wear yet. My favorite was the Honeybee Cardigan closely followed by my first ever vintage pattern from 1943. I definitely am knitting all the time too (school pickup line for the win!) and im really happy with what I produced. All of mine were colored except the bolero, which is black, and I tend to really wear the colors more than my neutrals with knits too. I loved seeing your makes!
They look amazing! Curious how the Mini Mock Neck compares to the Sailor Swift top, is one more fitted than the other? How would you choose which to make?
This is a good question. They are similar but I think I like how the Mini Mock Neck finishes the arms better? The shape is definitely similar. Also I love the neck line of the mini mock neck!

Ah thanks! It’s hard to be a beginner at something for sure- but when you’re ready for it you’ll do it!
I am so amazed how great a knitter you are in comparison to how long you have been knitting! I love the green sweater the most too. All the color!
Well that’s kind- I’ve still got a lot to learn but man, I really love it!

These all sound fabulous! I wonder how many other moms are knitting in carpool line with me? I should get a bumper sticker 😂
Great video! I love the green sweater especially. I’m looking forward to the sewing recap as well!
Thank you!! Was very fun to make

Thank you! I passed over the Mini Mock because I have made (and like!) the sailor swift top, but it looks so amazing on you I might give it a go.
