Deuces Wild I like em cuz each one gets more cohesive. He not a conscious rapper like Kendrick or Ab-Soul. He a gangsta rapper, but he’s good at what he does. He brings back the feeling of old school gangsta rap. If you listen, you’ll get a little something different each album. Maybe something with a g-funk or R&B or something with a old school vibe. Mainly, he knows how to pick some of the hardest beats to rap over.

The storytelling in Prescriptons/Oxymoron is fucking amazing and probably my favorite schoolboy q song. My first listen to blank face I thought it was good but I didn't think it even touched Oxymoron, but the album grew on me and its definitely up there with Oxy but still not as good in my opinion because he doesn't sound as hungry as he did on Oxy.

Agreed. There were a few awkward moments here where Envy would’ve been the one to catch the momentum, but since he wasn’t there the energy kinda died out.

I love Q’s attitude so much. He really just see’s music as an artform and a method of expression. He understands that anybody making music is just making art and expressing themselves. Agreed. There were a few awkward moments here where Envy would’ve been the one to catch the momentum, but since he wasn’t there the energy kinda died out.

Envy usually cuts the awkward moments and him not being here makes it feel like this interview wasn’t that natural. This could’ve been close to an hour long if he was there too.
I love Q’s attitude so much. He really just see’s music as an artform and a method of expression. He understands that anybody making music is just making art and expressing themselves. He’s not about the money. Everyone should think like him.
Any beef in music has had to do with sensitive egos or money. Q’s not about any of that.
