With the noise cancellation turned off the mic sounds actually quite a bit better.
Got mine a few days ago, I’ve been trying different eqs with different games. I ended up pushing bass to 2 and mid to 1 as found everything else sounded fine on standard just needed a bit more bass. I was blown away by the last of us 2 in particular, the level where Abby is hiding under sniper fire later in the game. Hearing the bullets hit the car and how crisp and clear the glass of the cars sounded when shot was incredible. Helldivers and Death stranding both sounded fantastic. Gonna try Cyberpunk later.
Hello. I saw several comments on reddit that the pulse elite is having a problem with randomly disconnecting. Can you tell me if this happens to you?
Mine hasn't yet, but I'll definitely keep an eye out. If there is an issue id say a FW fix is incoming. We'll see
@@patrickcorreia3794i‘m at total 20hrs 26min (testing battery life with one charge) and no disconnects since getting them as preorder. Using them with PS5 Slim with Beta Firmware (usb dongle is on the backside). Also no disconnect through two walls.
Thanks to wicked cushions we‘ll get earpads replacements hopefully! They‘ll announce it asap.
Only downside (for me) is build/design and for sure the lack of game-chat balance feature. It‘s not even working via PS5 settings, may they need update it.
Good info ta. My chat mix only works in menus when im actually in a party or chat enabled in game.
Ive had a play with the pads and reckon it can come off, so will wait for WC
@@patrickcorreia3794sorry it took so long for me to respond, no mine haven’t disconnected at all. I haven’t had any issues at all to be honest.
Due to the pressure of the ear cups could hear my own voice, walking away from playstation would cut out at short distances. Could hear every movement for some reason like a rattling. And was getting interference noises. I will say my mate bought these and loves them the noise cancelling is amazing. I sent mine back

It's deffo a great upgrade on Pulse 3D I ad to send back my Pulse Elite back...as they wouldn't connect ....reset as stated by playstation ....now av another pair....very happy with them I do prefer the uncluttered controls on the Elite..I no some ppl will lament no voice chat mix ...but for it's not something I care about ....great review and comparison mate 👍
I was going to buy these but accyto a different reviewer who contactet Sony about this, the earpads are glued and not easily replaced
We'll see about that lol. Ive had replacements that took more than just taking glue off. Even if WC dont make specific Ive gone through more.

What is that white adaptor that you used with charging hanger to hang on your table? Can you provide a link?

@@19Ken75 I meant the other part that is used to fix the part that comes with the headset to the table. I actually did a DIY projects since using a IKEA cup holder for tables, unscrewed the holder part and screwed in the hanger that came in the box. Now it is fixed to my table and very easy to use this way.
Does the Elite have Mic Monitoring (or is that now known as sidetone?). The Pulse 3D has a button for it. It allows me to hear if my kid is crying in the other room (as an example). This is an important feature for me.

I got these and mine have scratches already. I take care of my stuff and this is irritating. I'm going to return them this weekend.
Yup, see mine? The cups are shocking for it, same as the 3D's
I got the elites and they disconnect at random times forcing me to unplug the dongle then replace it. I also hear my heartbeat in the cups. Both of these things are beyond inconvenient.

The new ones just flat I returned mine cost too much for bad audio. I kept the old ones cause sounds a lot better
I have both sony pulse 3d and Elite. I actually prefer the 3d for my main shooter, pubg. The sound is easier to distinguish where footsteps and bullets are. When i use the elites for this game i feel further away, and the sounds also confuse me a lot. This game has great sound mechanics, simple but some players just use old wired earbuds and do great. Can anyone give me tips for this config. All the other games sound good, features are cool, i can eat chips and no can hear lol
I would of grabbed these but they removed chat mix which doesn't make any sense
The cynic in me says that it’s to encourage buying the Edge controller which makes it seamless
@@MainCave I think you still need to be in a playstation party to adjust chat mix which doesn't make sense if you're playing cross platform online games
With the constant disconnect issues with them after 2 weeks I just took it back. Whats weird All these reviewers are not talking about the disconnect issues

@@MainCave Sorry I've got a 'Aphasia' which I had my stroke.... here so it's difficult to meet you talk to people but what it is my elite headphone, when I press the 8 seconds to get it to pair the headphones turn off
No problem. Heres what to do. Put the headphones on and make sure they are working and you can hear sound and have you phone ready in BT pairing mode. Now press and hold the link button, it will bleep, keep holding, it will bleep again and will appear in your BT list. It takes around 6s and makes it much easier if you can hear the bleeping while doing it. Hope that sorts it.

Just got these today. EXTREMELY uncomfortable if you’re using PSVR2. If you put them over the headset there is a big gap allowing sound in and the sound is horrible. With it under the headset the sound is astonishing but the headset pushes the ear cups into your ear and it hurts within about 30 minutes. They do sound unbelievably awesome though. If you’re not using PSVR, I suppose they’d be ok. Problem is they slide all over the place while on your head. I tilted my head forward and back just a little and they moved a lot. You’ll be making a lot of adjustments while playing. Guess I’ll
Be trying out the Pulse earbuds next. If they don’t work, it’s back to my $30 Amazon headphones which are extremely comfortable and sound decent enough.

Haven't used PSVR2, but maybe the earbuds will be better suited
@@robertsmith20022 It’s not my ears that are making them slide all over my head when I tilt it bud. That’s the slippery retention band they have in it combined with the cheap lightweight plastic up top and the heavy ear cups forcing them down.
Wear the Elites first and it fits perfectly for me actually.
@ Not for me. They push the VR down on the back, forcing the front to come up and I’m constantly making adjustments. Already sent mine back. I’m going with some IEM’s. They sound much better than any over the head headset anyway. Should have just done that from the get go.
I got both the elites are better.
They get distorted at max volume.
Only for Bluetooth
@@joelmeza123 on ps5 it can't handle bass it gets distorted on max volume
@@KSI-PUNISHERthe bass gets a bit muddy if you're really pushing it but I never got mine close to distorted.
Why so loud I have mine set 5 or 6 clicks lower than max depending on the game. Max volume is too much on the ears

Sorry but if upgrade that was a bad decision keep the old ones sound ten time better might be less comfortable long game play but at least sounds good
