Not really but if you are a research based students, It is not advocated that much to go for co-op because of the length of your research. I have a report based student who went on a year co-op though.

Hi Deborah, you can apply directly with your HND results. At best, you might just need to do a WES evaluation of your result.

Ordinarily, you get a work permit for 1year after you finish studying and that should be enough for you to apply and get your PR.

Get in touch with the international student office, they will help you out. They can pick you up from the airport and get you a place to stay.
