If you are referring to the neighbour just informing the "professional grass" cutter that the "last guy" blew cuttings all over his lawn and asking that he not do that .....what's the harm in that. Would you not be irritated with the monster grass cuttings all over your lawn when an ignorant cutter does that? Look at how high the lawn is!!! That's a lot of cuttings.

I can't stand a neighbor like that. I have two that will just keep looking at what I do when outside. I would love a fence but it would cost like hell because the size of my yard.

It's a rather sad power trip. Born out of massive insecurity. Prob resents that the trimmed garden now looks better than his.
You reminded me of when I ran a small construction business, our main work was erecting formwork for a supplier. But between contracts we would take on small projects building extensions, garages etc. One job was a summer room on the rear of a property, that had 4ft wide pedestrian access one side and car wide access the other. We used the later for most of the work and supplies, and the narrow one for long timber deliveries. Each time that side's neighbors were out with a feather duster and tutting away as we tipped toe past. The other side neighbor was a lovely old lady, who asked if at the end of the day we a had a bucket had full of compo she could reset her garden wall bricks with. By the way she would bring out mid-morning coffee and afternoon tea every day because the customer worked.
We have any compo left but we did rebuild her wall, we fed her Fish & Chips on Friday, we power washed her drive and planted a rose in her garden. The other neighbors got sod all.

@@taxicamelI use a discharge kit on my Dixie chopper …..when it’s going to be an issue I just lower it over the chute and tell gramps go back in the house …..I never have to worry about throwing debris on a zero lot line house …..even if it is overgrown…..it came standard on the Diesel 60” best machine around…..26 years old machine and runs like a top to this day.
I need you to know that I’m watching you . Don’t blow grass onto my property . I bet the previous lawn care person thought neighbor was a jerk too .

Brian, i have watched a lot of your videos and I have never seen you blow trimmings on another person's property and you bag it the final round, so he had no worry about you doing that and the yard you cleaned made his yard look better, so he should thank you.

I’ve tidied up my neighbours garden,because they were incapable….i was offered a payment but i never accepted or quoted..after my good work i was regarded as interfering and not appreciated..inside of peoples heads is a bit of a mess sometimes….

Nice job Brian. It may increase the value of the home. I do watch yard workers at neighbors' homes. It is relaxing. I am vigilant however when a house is on the market. I have seen people prying open windows to get inside - another neighbor confronted them. Nosy neighbors are good, really.
