I still have all my editions of Strictly IC Magazine. All 84. Emilio Lazarus(SP?) from Hungary built a model turbine engine with a fully functional afterburner, way before any model turbines had hit the market. He also hand machined and built 5 CO2 airplane motors that would all fit in a Contact cold capsule, one was a 7 cylinder radial. One of my editions of Strictly IC has that story. Massive info in those old magazines about making piston rings, pistons, bushed rods,, , Strictly Internal Combustion stuff. One story tells you how to create a heavy metal square punch,,for punching square holes in thick metal, and it's not what you would have thought of, at that time.
Sorry It's too small to get real functionality out of it. I made for a design element for my desk. Maybe I'll figure out some kind of pneumatic drive for it later.
😄 I afraid of breaking the 1mm drill and M1.2 tap in steel. I don't think I could ever have done this drilling and tapping on such a small scale in steel
@@kvechannel I asked because I've seen many broken or bending rod in a real car engine. I really love to see you test the engine till failure then fix the faulty component till you have the most reliable engine. Build Test Repair Build Test Repair repeat and repeat
Coming along great! I watch your videos in my shop while I build my own engine (4cyl inline) and my son asked me the other day. What are you watching on that thing while you’re in there porn? I said nope, it’s way better than porn! lol anyway, it’s coming along really nice and looking forward to the next video.
30 seconds in i can see that you have some really bad machining practices. Turn your mill off any time you want to put ypur hands close to it. Trust me, fly cutter will take your finger clean off.
Before 1 minute was up you freaked me out twice, firstly always turn the machine off before you measure the job!!!!!! and secondly a vernier caliper is for measuring NOT scribing!!!!But apart from that nice work
Need a part 3 sometime, love the mill need to see more of it (preferably not sped up and no music!!) keep it up !
So interesting to watch - but I'd much rather hear the sound of your machinery and craftsmanship than that background music.
Same

So cool. Been looking for a good model engine build. No spoken words even needed.

I see it so often people using their calipers to scribe lines it is the worst thing you can do to your calipers....
Id Say opening a beer with them is worse
Making a vise stop would help when making multiple of the same part. Pretty simple design.
I loved these videos, and I enjoyed the music and the machinery sounds together, thank you and excellent work!
Measuring the height of the workpiece with the caliper when the fly cutter is running is really a big courage :-)
Maybe you could comment your videis, giving advice, tips and information. That eould make them even more interesting
Really perfect. Will it run or it is a just model ?
Also this channel deserves more respect.
Thank you! Is just a model a decorative element for my desk :)
thought you'll use a wire saw for the connecting rod.
This is awsome, I always wanted to see someone do this
When will we hear hear it running ? Can't wait !

what it would take to make something like this work?
Easy going music paired with The Prodigy😄. Why make the rods out of a softer material than the rest?
😄 I afraid of breaking the 1mm drill and M1.2 tap in steel. I don't think I could ever have done this drilling and tapping on such a small scale in steel
Awesome, but let down by the use of slot head screws.
Is it economoly
I honestly thought you where going to do an edit with the blade and the hammer while cutting the rods but I guess not.
Why you made it with a brass when you could make it out of steel?
I was afraid of the 1mm drill and M1.2 tap breaking😄

@@hamood1234fool Don't live up to part of your name. Show us what you are building.
What lathe and milling you used in this project?
I used my diy lathe and mill, look at my older videos of how i made it
It’s better to drill 2 con rod bolts, then cut a piece of big end bearing, then mate both parts with bolts and drill a final rod pin bore.
That was very interesting to watch.
No water jackets ?
Not too bright are you?
Saya perlu melihat anda membuat rangkaian mesin milling yang anda miliki pak😊😊
You built the mill I assume?
Yes i built it. The coordinate table is factory-made
Nice work!
@@kvechannel
Very nice work
What's name of milling machine?
Is a diy milling machine
@@kvechannelis it cnc?
@@iktorn3539 No, is a manual mill
Пропустил момент с изготовлением коленвала🤔
WOW!!! Excellent
Do a v6 next
0:11 Wow, measuring with a rotating cutter at 1 inch... you must have a death wish. Sooner or later the machine is going to bite you.
It´s crazy.. very dangerous
Очень красивый блок цилиндров👍👍👍👍
muito bom queria ter ferramentas pra tentar fazer, parabens
Your work looks really nice, but the music smeared over it is a deal breaker...
Part 3 please 🙏
I would say exactly what nv1493 said, background music is a bit noise. I rather prefer machinery sounds.
Great job, thank you!!
Amazing!!

Make it functional :D
good
Я бы первым делом шуруповертом покрутил

You're right I always feel sorry for the caliper using for scribing. And yes one day i regret not stopping the machine before measuring :D
На FIAT и поехал.
00:43 👎 & 00:48 👎 I suddendly stop watching this video
Nem is gondoltam volna hogy magyar vagy!👍😉
😉
Kamaz, V8
Actually is AMG M159 engine 😄
Fck. Sick!!!
Dude. Dump the music. It sucks. We wanna hear the machines.
