    Hi CJ!! Thanks for this vid! I just got the S23 Ultra! And I want to get the best out of the camera features! Could you do a video of using the camera indoors? like a concert or dark setting? I went to a movie premier last night and my videos and photos during the Q&A in the theater were terrible! They didn't focus or they were grainy. I googled and found your channel. I am now subscribed!!

      Tbh this camera will struggle in lowlight…you would instead lock shutter speed at 1/50 if shooting 24 fps or 1/60 if shooting 30 frames per second. Then you would crank ISO which introduces noise and that’s why the footage will struggle but it’s the limitations of the small sensor size…

    Its crazy that you mention wanting to adjust the f/stop because if you remember, The Galaxy S9 series actually let you do that, it had two aperatures you could switch to. It would have been great if they still had it, and it would have been crazy in the pro mode you could actually manually adjust to and between the to ranges but that probably wouldve made the phone crazy expensive

    Very interesting! 👍👌
    Question : if you make a video where you walk and move a lot (with 50 ISO all the time), the shutter speed is going to change a lot.
    Would it be better in such a case to lock the shutter speed rather than the ISO to have a smoother video?

    • @CJKnowsTECH
      @CJKnowsTECH  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Honestly If we could change the F-stop then we could control light there and keep the shutter at 1/60 and move ISO as needed. But I am not a fan of cranking shutter speed at all trust me. I never do it on my real cameras but in smartphones you break a lot of rules

    When you were shooting your kicks it didn't fix the focus as you said it would. Also, there was a huge color difference between the pro mode S23 and the professional camera which was much warmer. The regular S23 showed colors somewhere in between the two while being still on the cooler side. You said pro mode shows the accurate colors. So the professional camera after color grading or whatever didn't show the accurate colors?

    Previously I owned galaxy S9 and when I shoot photos of white paper with text, inside house with good lighting from outside, paper was everytime blue. Now I own Galaxy S23 Ultra ant the problem is the same. My brother owns iPhone X and never had this problem. Setting are automatic on both. I don't understand why is this happening ? Further more, 4:3 image taken on S23 Ultra is good sharp, but when shooting with 50 MP or 200 MP, images are not that sharp as regular 4:3. Why is that ?

    Can you do 4k at 24 FPS?

    So are 50mp and 200mp modes trash? The picture seems to look better in pro 50mp camera mode vs the other 2 lol. Why tf didn't they do 200mp pro mode lol, is that an option in raw?

    I'm probably the only guy who uses his NOTE 8 for B-Roll footage when making videos.

      Because you have to crank the shutter speed to compensate...You can raise the ISO a little bit too as well

    Strangely, you looked much better on the front facing camera... the main camera was over-sharpening your face (or it could be that the front facing camera was adding smoothing) and you were more choppy on the main camera.

      Agreed. Front facing camera is my favorite one for these reasons. The sharpening is over the top on rear camera for sure.
