Here's a pointer for you, when ever removing or replacing grease in a hub, I always use a spatula. the smaller ones work best less mess on you and less wasted rags. On driving races, I always use a 2x4 or 4x4 either on edge or the end to help start the race in the hole. This is easier than going around the circle and giving small taps to try and start it. Use a regular lbs. hammer and give it a good whack. Then lay your cut race on top after you have already driven the new one in flush. Then continue with the 2x4 or 4x4 on top of the cut race to finish. Nice work have been working on vehicles all my life old man now LOL and this is what I've found to be the easiest techniques.
I was always taught the outer locknut goes handtight, not 58 foot pounds. big difference lol. and i've done it that way atleast a dozen times haha. I better go do some research and see what's correct. either way great video, i came to see your strategy for installing the inner race.
