I'm pretty sure that is not possible, or have you been playing offline for like 3 months? Also, this video isn't even a critique on the update, it's more of a critique to the Nintendo switch console's lack of good performance on modern games, in reality, the "unite" update is basically asphalt 9 with better lighting effects, different menus and a different online ranking structure, the game stays basically the same even after those changes, so by staying behind on A9, you're missing out on a ton of features you used to have and even more, simply because you are afraid of change, but there's no need for that, don't be afraid of it, embrace it
one thing is asphalts optimization, my pc has low fps and crashes due to it being low spec but my phone have low graphics capabilities so its more on fps. but switch is already a laggy mess, zelda totk is basically exhibit a
What? I'm sorry, i couldn't comprehend your comment well, but by my interpretation, what you're saying is that the main problem of the optimization issues is the switch itself and not the game?
Well... No... Asphalt is primarily a mobile game series, so it's hard for it to run stably on every single device, the switch has a big flaw, it's seven years old, it's technology is heavily outdated, so to get this new asphalt update with funky shiny new lighting effects to run on it properly must have been a huge undertaking. Besides, it's unrealistic to think that a game of this graphical quality would be able to run smoothly on everything Although I will admit, the optimization right now is terrible!
I mean, it truly does depend on your device... If you have a low end computer, it's gonna lag, although if you have a mid-high end computer, it (in theory) shouldn't lag
This is a good reason why I didn’t update and stay in Asphalt 9

It's not really a "switch problem", it's an optimization problem

@@RedCatsCoolVids truly the fps on it is less stable than on forza horizon 4
Can't prove it, but it does seem like the game has some heavy optimization issues
