Using Stampin' Up!'s Inspiring Snapdragons and our own DSP to create a pretty Birthday Card

Stampin' Up!'s Inspiring Snapdragons Bundle was a hard set for me to make a card out of. I guess it was the fact that I couldn't find a DSP to use with it. So lets make our own. Easy patterned paper that we create to use the colors we want to use. . . it is a fun way to be creative. We ink blended and used daubers. We also used a sentiment from Stampin' Up!'s Beach Day.

I use the 8th’s measurement as well, like the thin borders. Very nice card, the foliage would be pretty as well. Love the dot technique, makes a cute homemade DSP 😉

Hello from Australia. What a lovely card, so bright and cheerful. I laughed when you were getting the eighths mixed up. Being metric, I find the 16ths really hard to follow. thanks for sharing the card. ☺

I’m not a huge orange fan either…with the pinks it is pretty. I saw someone with paper that had big green dots…I wondered where it came from. It looks exactly like your ‘dsp’.. you are a ‘jewel’ doing that scrapbook in such a short time! Wow!!

Thanks Deb . . . maybe sucker is the better word, but truly I had fun being creative and trying something new. You can always use daubers to make circles so you can recreate that card you saw pretty easily. Thanks for taking the time to comment. I really appreciate it. Do you have this set? @@a7sizegirlamandabouchard760 Don't have this set...love the flowers (in person) and I love the sentiments in this set. I always used pencil erasers for small dots on 'DIY DSP'....haven't tried daubers. Thought the green dots might have been from the full of life dsp

@@debmccann3821 oooh Maybe. I've never tried used a pencil eraser. I've heard it can be done, but I have not tried. I think I need to remember that for next time.
