      Because it’s BLACK. Like really BLACK. Just like versafine nocturne ink. Gina K amalgam ink. I love deep crisp BLACK ink. Try versafine nocturne ink, I think you’ll like it!

      Hi Lynn. My glue gun is the glue press from my sweet petunia. Best ever! I use the amalgam ink.

    It’s an adorable card Amanda! If it’s not 100% straight it’s ok - keep it as a sample for future options😊. I give you a lot of credit for working on larger cards (which I love) in such a confined camera space. Thank you for the real time crafting and being our A7 gal!

    Such nice cards! I make 4-5 of the same cards then change it up to make about 15-20. And slim lines for the nephews and nieces in case we give money. The cards definitely look better with that small line of glimmer paper, makes it pop.

    I agree with you about the critters being in all different directions…kinda drives me crazy. I guess it might work on a 3D item where you need non directional paper. I always feel like I’m cheating if I use stickers (and don’t stamp/color the image myself). I’m working hard to get over that feeling. lol

      I didn't consider Elmers, sorry. I havn't used it, but do you think it as good as the others? I think the costs is with Elmers, but I'm not sure about the longevity and the acid content? I'd love to hear your thoughts.

    The card was fine but would have been better without the confusing voice over. Too fast and too many changes of mind. Very difficult to follow. Maybe edit before putting the video out. I'm not trying to be rude, just give advice

      I appreciate the advice, this video is a few years old. I have to tell you though, I make many changes to my cards as I usually make them up as I go along. Sometimes I have everything already cut and measured in advance, but I also like to show how I come to make a card . . . . Thanks for the imput. I'll listen to this video again and make some notes on how to improve.

      I hope you do. I think it makes it WOW . . I used gloss gel by liqitex. You could also cover the area with versamark and clear imposs it. Not sure if the embossing powder would crack - I'll have to try it out.

    I vote no on the bow but I would have embossed that skinny pink cardstock layer on the front left for texture.

    TFS your wonderful creation! Its sooo cute!! The tool is called a Crop-A-Dile! Ive even used mine to punch setting holes thru 3 layers of fabric besides using it in papercrafting!! LOL :D

    What kind of glue do you use? And what kind of dispenser?

      I prefer to use a liquid glue that does not stay sticky when dry for everyday use. I use the My Sweet Petunia Precision Glue Press and I like the Nuevo glue that comes with it, I like Art Glitter glue and Bearly Art Glue. I do use the Tombo green top glue for some things, but I don’t use it often. I hope that helps.

      @@brendajones7756 nope. The die, stamp set and embossing folder can all be used separately. I think they complement each other beautifully.
