Jungkook is the first and only asian artist perform on Times Square, actually only Jungkook & post malone performed there in the history, also the fact that this was announced 30 minutes before happening and the huge crowd there who came for jungkook was so impressive, that shows how amazing and impactful Jungkook is, our Giant pop star. Jungkook was the first Korean artist to perform in Times Square. Not everyone can perform if they want to. It was a surprised performance, but it drew such a large crowd, and it was a free performance on a huge stage in the middle of New York. Isn't it surprising? Especially performing there, it would be difficult even for a singer without some level of skill. The same was true for the performance at the opening ceremony of the Qatar World Cup. Jeon Jungkook is not a K-pop idol, but a world-class super pop star.

JK has an extraordinary voice, when he enters the stage he is sexy, intense and absolute. He has the characteristics of an artist that are not manufactured, he is born with them, JK is charismatic, he captivates his audience.
This wasn’t on NYE. It was a surprise performance but ARMY figured out that he was performing and went to TSX on a hunch. They announced this performance on twitter 30 minutes before. I love BTS and Jk is my ULT bias because of his live vocal and performance abilities and this live showcased that perfectly.

JK is a big JB fan. He has done a ton of covers of JB's covers, JK didn't sing the explicit version of "Seven" but the fans always do in a live audience. That wasn't New Years. It was Nov 9/23. He was in NYC doing other promotions (which were announced in advance) and then proceeded to Times Square to do this free concert with 30 minutes notice....and it was packed with ARMY. After hearing the track Yes or No, please realise that as a group or solo, BTS make no-skip albums. Some of their best songs are their B sides. Watching their A side videos is great BUT this is why you always need to review their albums. EVERY track is a gem. No exaggeration!💜

The album dropped a few days prior I think and ARMY already knew all the words. This happened with DNA on ama's. The song dropped the night before and ARMY knew their parts! That's a great live to watch BTW. There is also behind the scenes video for that performance and SO many more.
Another thing BTS do is instead of going to event after parties, they go back to hotel and celebrate with ARMY on weverse. ( used to be Vlive.) They are hyped, drinking , and hilarious.

JK dropped his first solo album on November 3rd. His performance at the TSX stage was on November 9, 2023. You all were right about one thing. It was and is a Big Deal! The BTS person who performed solo on New Year's Eve was JHope in 2022! That was also a Big Deal! His performance is on TH-cam. New Year's Eve in NewYork City proudly introduced ALL of BTS in 2020 to their stage. Now that was The Biggest Deal! They were amazed to be asked. They were so nervous. There is a video of their rehearsal and performance on TH-cam. Jimin had a wardrobe malfunction. Check it out. It's not hard to miss. He didn't miss a step. Which is what professionals are supposed to do. He kept dancing like it was supposed to happen. Josh Kim. You may have been fooled by an edited video of the rest of the BTS members looking up from the audience watching JK perform on Times Square. But it was a fake video. The guys were looking up at the NewYear's Eve Ball dropping. Don't feel bad. I was confused at first when I saw it. Go look at the video that punked everyone. But more important. Check out their Live New Year's performance in Times Square. A trivia note. There was no media or press who pre-released the date JK was performing.

Amothet time JK performed his whole album Live at a showcase for Army at a small venue. I know you would love hearing all the songs on his album LIVE. His favorite song is "Hate You". There is a video of his performance on TH-cam. But it's not called an MV. It's called a visualization. I love the song so much. I found a 1 hour loop of the song and play it often! i feel like his great english pronounciation can be attributed to him being pitch perfect. Even if he can't enunciate certains consonants properly, he can mimick the same intonations so his english comes off as very natural.

It was unannounced and it’s not on New Year’s eve. I’m one of the people who got there late. I can’t imagine how much bigger the crowd will be if they told us early enough so we can drive there on time. I live 40 minutes away but was at work so I couldn’t leave eventhough some people had a hunch that something will happen in Times Square. Around 3 or 4 the dancers were seen walking around Times Square and I think this happened 5 pm. Imagine how I feel driving 10 minutes away around 5. By the time I parked the performance was over but the crowd was still crazy when I got there.

The only member of BTS that has made a solo tour before enlisting is SUGA. Tour’s name was D’Day (same as his solo album). 25 shows in 10 cities, 6 countries (USA, Indonesia, Japan, Thailand, Singapur and of course Korea. All of then Sold Out. You have to check SUGA’s solo work. 💜🇵🇪
