Andre Jackson, UConns engine sat for 80% of the game because of foul trouble. He has to learn to be better and smarter with how valuable he is. Hawkins was also shut out and UConn only lost by 2 with a chance to win. Wild game.
It's actually better UConn won March Madness as a 4 seed. First time in history all of the top 1-3 seeds failed to make the Final Four. That wouldn't have been the case if UConn were a 3 seed

I don't understand why teams play iso in crunch time. It almost cost Marquette the game (twice). Run the freakin' offense and try to get somebody open for a good shot!
Their coach froze in the big moment he had a timeout and failed to use it and draw up a play. Instead just let them dribble down to 1 second and chuck up an air all 3. Hurley sucks

This Marquette team reminds me a lot of the Brunson led Nova teams. They may not have a pro but that roster understands their roles. Kolek imo has been a first team AA to close the season out. I think the stat that goes unnoticed with their ballclub is that they play fast but don't put up huge turnover numbers. There's no question they are a bit thin up front but that team is really difficult to guard. I'd love to see a Marquette/UCLA match-up in the tournament.

That was my thought exactly. Why not call a timeout with 10 seconds left and create something. Was Hurley out of timeouts on that last play?
