Edey is better than a lot of NBA trash.
Edey definitely lacks that quick adjustment ability on defense around the hoop and it's going to be a problem in the NBA but I just don't see how he's projected as a late second rounder?
NBA teams aren’t really looking for centers as much nowadays. Unless they have insane handles and speed.

@@emmettebramble10 Well there aren't many, but more important for a center nowadays is 3 and D. Myles Turner for example is a great modern center with his 3-point shooting and rim protection. Perhaps Edey can develop the 3-point shot; he would only need to shoot in the low 30s (%)
@d2r-leetloot551 You have Joel and Giannis in that category. What teams want from their centers these days is a high baseball IQ, so you can run your offense through them from the circle down. PnP, PnR, DHO. Be an excellent passer- Jokic, Sabonis, Sangun, etc. Or be big mobile men-Adams, Valentunis, etc

Please explain, if part of your foot is out of the lane then it doesn't count towards the 3 seconds. Watch the play again and count to three when both of his feet are fully in the lane. You can't because he wasn't in there for over 3 seconds... 🤦♂️

Sure he’s not quick and can’t shoot, but he has good hands, can hit free throws, and shoots a great hook shot.
