I like how they fought through their differences and sacrificed for each other.
    If only we could?

I never watched this movie, I saw reference to this movies somewhere and then I watched the trailer, it was great, and this show edit is great, now I want to get the movie and watch it. It is better than the movies today: great acting, just great,

What I love is the end scene sidneys character couldve left Tony's character but he reached back an tried to get him on the train same as when Tony's character could've gotten in the car with the woman an not cared at all about sidney getting stuck in the swamp. I allways wondered what happens to them after there caught.

I remember this movie when it came out. I saw it when I was 12 yrs old with my older sister who was baby sitting that day with me; 1962. It was a rerun. I will always remember how this movie 🎥 impacted me. I remember how important the racist attitude was. Although I had not experienced it personally, it affected me as a personal problem. I had a day off from school. To be with my older sister, who never went to school at that time, meant a lot to me. She took me to see an adult movie , secretly. This was the year we were moving to England for a better education. This was the second time I was introduced to the acting of Sydney Poitier in movies. I was already knowing him in the play to movie script, “A Raisin in the Sun”. The third time I got to know Sydney Poitier was in 2 movies: “The Bedford Incident” ( 1965) and “To Sir with Love. (1968). I met Sydney personally in the latter movies bc my father was in them too.
He was such a wonderful gentleman!! 👍🥰❤️
