I too got these and are returning them as they not as seamless as they make them out to be. I was sweating when they were on my face. Plus the sharpness of my iPhone meant the screen on my phone is much better to look at
I also have the xreal air 2 and i think they are great. Ive had them since the new year and use them every day. The Blurry screen problem described is due to a bad fit, unfortunately due to the form factor of glasses and due to the fact that every body has a different shaped face. Apparently some people have this fit problem but its perfect for me. No blurriness at all. I have also watched many hours of content and have never seen pixels. The screens in the glasses are 1080p oled screens and have fantastic image quality. I also have a galaxy s24 ultra and using DEX you can turn off your phone screen and continue watching in the glasses so thats great. Comparing the xreals to the meta quest is not a good comparison as they have different use cases. The quest is great for playing games, but i could not consume all the hours of content i have on a quest as it gets uncomfortable after some time and the xreals i could wear for hours on end with no problems. Also i have used the xreals in public many times, and they do not look out of place at all. I have even worn them walking down the street and riding my bike and no one looks at me strangely. Imagine walking down the street wearing the quest 😂 The 2 things i would agree with is that 1 these are not really AR glasses. The AR function of the glasses at the moment is not good. Apparently xreal are working on the software and 2 the price is too high. I bought mine very lightly used for a good price i dont know if i would pay the full price. The best use case fot the glasses is consuming media, want a giant comfortable to use screen anywere you go, they are perfect. Want AR or VR they probably wont work out. For me they are fantastic. There is a redit page for the xreals, my advice to anyone thinking about buying they should go check that beforehand.
For me, it is not worth bringing the extra bulk with me when i travel. the extra wire that hangs from my face to my phone is like going back to the days of wired headphones! Also it's too tedious to use.
@@geekazoid2483I just mainly use my glasses with my phone so the only 'extra bulk' is the case that comes with the glasses and that fits in my jacket pocket. With the wire I think it's a weight trade off. I guess they could have put a battery in the glasses and some extra circuitry in them and some memory but then they would be massively heavy and not comfortable to wear at all. At that point you may as well wear a quest on the train or plane
Meta sells their hardware below or at cost, which makes it impossible for smaller companies to price match. Meta generates all their money from mining your entire digital profile and selling that to the highest bidder. This is not AR or VR. It is a stepping stone. Maybe using them with a beam pro will solve some of your complaints? I haven't tried it yet.
The box it comes in is that way so people don’t try to sell them as “new” when they’re actually used. as soon as you rip the pull opener strip they’re officially used
Not liking it is one thing, I respect that opinion, but I don't think the quest 3 comparison is viable. I own a quest 3, but use it just for pcvr, I'l buy this purely for taking around in backpack with steam deck.
Appreciate the honest review for this XREAL Air 2 Pro because i'm thinking of buying this also but seeing this i think i will skip this XREAL Air 2 Pro & wait for the next version 😅. By the way i have the earlier version of competitor brand equivalent to XREAL which is TCL NXTWEAR S and from my experience the image quality is great (havent experience any screendoor effect) so what im thinking if this XREAL Air 2 Pro has screen door effect it could be a defective product. I enjoy using my TCL NXTWEAR S with ROG5 or a with CHUWI larkbox X (DDR5 cheap mini PC) just plug & play. lastly try reviewing other brands of AR glasses like TCL etc.
I am Far sited I see good far away not so good close. One of the use for my Xreal glasses. I connect to a gpd mini laptop and write a book with ms word. I need a lot of help so tons of reading on the internet. I may see a little blurring but I adjust the glasses and good to go, I have never seen the digital fence. I own a oculas go I do see it in those.
If it’s blurry or pixelated like you’re describing it’s because of a figment problem, you have it too close to your face or not close enough you have to experiment and choose the right size nose piece and push it and pull it away and towards your face. These are incredible glasses and I absolutely have no complaints.
i have the xreal air 2 pro and i don't completely agree maybe the price is too high probably should be 100 less, but i actually love them maybe he's having a problem with how it fits because mine are very clear i often get finger prints on them so i usually wipe them with the included cloth and im good, i do carry a back pack with me everywhere even to work but its cool i would say try them first if you can, i know not all phones have video output but i have a z fold 3 and the xreal beam. only one issue i noticed the bean does take long to charge, and fast chargers dont work with it
Nice review, i got they glasses and as mentioned they use case is limited, mainly using it to consume content like TH-cam, for productivity the requirements are quite high and not worth it, nebula software is really bad. I've got a more pleased experience with quest 3 since the apps for productivity and field of view is much more better.

То есть ты в квест можешь по улице ходить? Но если бы у тебя были мозги, то понял бы что квест с его 20 пикселями на градус можно пожелать только врагу!
@@bzdishekzapadlovsky Во первых мне не для пешых походов, строго интересует качество картинке и восприятие экрана как говорят хотябы 130" . у меня были quest2 графика вр игр убогая но фильмы и сериалы особенно 3д на гигантском экране это офигенно, в третьем квесте думаю будет ещё круче у них проблема в том что они тяжелые и огромные, мне чисто для командировок, вр игры вообще не интересует, а вот 2д игры с компютера очень даже хотелось бы на большом экране и в 120-150-200". А купить их чтоб по улице ходить и смотреть ролики на ютюбе с экраном как на большом планшете это не то. А если ты такой "умный" сними полноценный обзор и сравни quest 3 и xreal 2 pro, интересует угол обзора и качество картинки у меня нет возможности протестировать их, а многие после выхода viture pro xr уже говорят что у них картинка лучше чем на xreal 2 pro так как края не замыляны как в xreal, а до этого ни у одного не услышал что края не четкие так что пиздеть это не мешки таскать...все могут

Although I have not used my glasses on a windows computer there are many videos here on youtube of people doing just that. From what I understand the glasses are not compatible with all PC graphics cards. I'm sure there is a compatibility list on xreals website. Also there is multiple PC software that can be used to get multiple screens on windows PCs using the xreals. I think maybe the official software is not the best out there at the moment.
@@projak78 I used an RTX 4050 which is better that what they required based on their documentation. And why would you need such a powerful RTX3050 graphics just to do that? An ordinary graphics card can do triple monitor without issues. The software is still in 0.7 Beta after so many years and can't even be downloaded directly through their website. You download it through a Google Drive link! Why would I need to find a 3rd party software to make this run on Windows when they should already provide it out of the box? This is USD 450!
You can actually turn off the screen if you use samsung dex instead of turning it off. Though you can only use either nebula or dex, not both. Also, you keep comparing to Quest 3. Quest 3 is a VR headset where this glasses is a AR/XR glasses, both are completely different. VR lets you interact in a virtual world and keep you out from the outside world, AR/XR lets you display your AR contents in the outside world. I can talk to someone and still watching my videos on sideview without that person realising, how cool is that? I can wear this glasses for hours without feeling tired but Quest 3 makes me tired after 30mins of usage. It's like comparing Apple & Orange. It's blurry because you did not choose/adjust your nosepad enough. Or your IPD is out of the glasses' range. Also you are the only user from the thousands of users in Reddit that says there is screendoor effect, not sure how that happened for your end. And to charge your phone while using, you can use the adapter for both charging and display out to your glasses. You should really need to do more research instead of ranting here.
+1 I was kinda feeling the same watching the video. I don't have these glasses (ordered them and they will arrive soon) but I knew already about every "problems-not-really-problems" he's talking about. If you buy product that expensive the least you can do is to read a bit about it...

Я вот купил себе, наслушавшись восторженных воплей блогеров. Брал именно как замену монитору для работы и так далее. Что я могу сказать, самое оптимальное использование этих очков и наверное единственное, это посмотреть видосики. Максимум, поиграть в какие-нибудь игрушки с портативных консолей. Да, качество изображения у них получше, за счет маленького угла обзора, но, это самое "качество" очень не равномерно по экрану, края, некоторые места в середине размываются, текст двоится, если на микрон сдвинулись очки, причем, если оно в одном месте стало лучше, то в другом хуже. В них можно кое как что-то делать, но только от безысходности и если вам не жалко свои глаза. Ни о какой, комфортной, работе с текстом, проганье и т.д. не может быть и речи. Что-то делать можно только с фиксацией экрана относительно головы иначе часть изображения будет просто не читаема из-за искажений оптики. Но тогда приходится постоянно вертеть головой, чтобы нужный участок изображения попал на место экрана, где оно будет наиболее четким без ореолов и двоения. Еще одна особенность, которая прям очень портит восприятие, по крайней мере у меня, это то, что ты не можешь придвинуться к этому виртуальному монитору, чтобы детальнее рассмотреть какое-то место, реакции на глубину нет, оно и понятно, датчиков приближения нет на них. Ну и еще одна особенность, как будто ты смотришь в коробку, причем очень маленькую коробку. На счет каких-то там 320 дюймов, я их не нашел. Всё что можно добиться регулировкой, это типа ты или видишь весь экран или как будто видишь его через лупу и крутишь головой, чтобы посмотреть на его части. На самом деле, размер изображения всегда равен примерно 27-32 дюймам с расстояния 1-1,5 метра, сравнивал как раз со своим монитором, глядя на него в полупрозрачном режиме очков. По поводу герцовки тоже интересный момент, если у вас нет тайп с с поддержкой 120 герц, то это просто вырвиглаз. На 60 герцах они мерцают как старый бабушкин телевизор. Видимо особенность дисплеев такая, хотя на ips мониторе такого нет. Если брать переходники с hdmi на тайп с, то родной и большинство не родных, кабелей переходников, больше 60 герц не дают и для меня это крайне странно. На чем я тоже погорел, так как брал и кабель заодно. Нужно искать кабель с поддержкой 120 герц, а их всего два известно на данный момент и в РФ купить проблематично, так как на алике их нет. В целом, даже мой Quest 2 Pro выглядит гораздо привлекательнее, у него нет всех этих косяков и даже с учетом более низкого разрешения на градус, текст в нем читается гораздо лучше. Вот такие вот "чудо" очки получаются, по крайней мере для меня. Я свои буду продавать с вероятностью 99%.
Какое длинное признание своей глупости. Я почему то никогда не пытался заменить очками монитор. Интересно почему?; А-а, он же у меня есть! Интересно как же я догадался, что провожу в транспорте 2-3 часа в день, и можно это делать с удовольствием как в кинотеатре благодаря очкам. Ведь на видео не видно никаких проблем высосанных вами. Даже ваши 27 с 1-1,5м наглая ложь , вы даже не удосужились проверить, что очень легко делается. Реально 27" с 60 см. И раз вы обманули в этом в 2 раза, так и во всём. Не пишите больше глупых коммеариев

И мне предоставили ноутбук от фирмы не говоря уже о другом доступном оборудование . И очки были при мне 2. У меня это третья модель очков, котору я очень ждал 3. Так же продаю, если не нравится, но в моём случае перед выходом новой модели - обновляюсь. 4. Ну и вы солгали со своими 27" с 1-1,5 , как и про мерцание. Если бы у вас они были на руках, вы бы такой дичи не написали. А так... Заказуха неумехе

I tried the different nose pads already. Same results.

It was ok when i opened it. I just had a hard time placing it again in the box when i decided to sell it.

Да, качество изображения у них получше, за счет маленького угла обзора, но, это самое "качество" очень не равномерно по экрану, края, некоторые места в середине размываются, текст двоится, если на микрон сдвинулись очки, причем, если оно в одном месте стало лучше, то в другом хуже. В них можно кое как что-то делать, но только от безысходности и если вам не жалко свои глаза. Ни о какой, комфортной, работе с текстом, проганье и т.д. не может быть и речи. Что-то делать можно только с фиксацией экрана относительно головы иначе часть изображения будет просто не читаема из-за искажений оптики. Но тогда приходится постоянно вертеть головой, чтобы нужный участок изображения попал на место экрана, где оно будет наиболее четким без ореолов и двоения. Еще одна особенность, которая прям очень портит восприятие, по крайней мере у меня, это то, что ты не можешь придвинуться к этому виртуальному монитору, чтобы детальнее рассмотреть какое-то место, реакции на глубину нет, оно и понятно, датчиков приближения нет на них. Ну и еще одна особенность, как будто ты смотришь в коробку, причем очень маленькую коробку. На счет каких-то там 320 дюймов, я их не нашел. Всё что можно добиться регулировкой, это типа ты или видишь весь экран или как будто видишь его через лупу и крутишь головой, чтобы посмотреть на его части. На самом деле, размер изображения всегда равен примерно 27-32 дюймам с расстояния 1-1,5 метра, сравнивал как раз со своим монитором, глядя на него в полупрозрачном режиме очков. По поводу герцовки тоже интересный момент, если у вас нет тайп с с поддержкой 120 герц, то это просто вырвиглаз. На 60 герцах они мерцают как старый бабушкин телевизор. Видимо особенность дисплеев такая, хотя на ips мониторе такого нет. Если брать переходники с hdmi на тайп с, то родной и большинство не родных, кабелей переходников, больше 60 герц не дают и для меня это крайне странно. На чем я тоже погорел, так как брал и кабель заодно. Нужно искать кабель с поддержкой 120 герц, а их всего два известно на данный момент и в РФ купить проблематично, так как на алике их нет. В целом, даже мой Quest 2 Pro выглядит гораздо привлекательнее, у него нет всех этих косяков и даже с учетом более низкого разрешения на градус, текст в нем читается гораздо лучше. Вот такие вот "чудо" очки получаются, по крайней мере для меня. Я свои буду продавать с вероятностью 99%.

Интересно как же я догадался, что провожу в транспорте 2-3 часа в день, и можно это делать с удовольствием как в кинотеатре благодаря очкам. Ведь на видео не видно никаких проблем высосанных вами.
Даже ваши 27 с 1-1,5м наглая ложь , вы даже не удосужились проверить, что очень легко делается. Реально 27" с 60 см. И раз вы обманули в этом в 2 раза, так и во всём.

@@bzdishekzapadlovsky Поездите по разным странам вместе с монитором, потом поговорим. У каждого свои кейсы на ту или иную технологию. Для меня не проблема купить, потестить и потом продать, если мне не понравилось. И я никогда не буду оправдывать какую-то хреновину только из-за того, что я на неë потратился.

1. Ездил по заграничным командировкам несколько лет. И мне предоставили ноутбук от фирмы не говоря уже о другом доступном оборудование . И очки были при мне
2. У меня это третья модель очков, котору я очень ждал
3. Так же продаю, если не нравится, но в моём случае перед выходом новой модели - обновляюсь.
