So nice to see these wonderful older, yesteryear pieces of equipment out there and still working and farming. I enjoyed your video, thanks Ross, have a great day!
@@petepeeff5807 the power shift works great but that 9-10 shift when it’s changing clutch packs will about knock your teeth out! I agree, I hope I don’t have to find out how expensive the Funk transmission is to rebuild.
I recalibrated a 6145 early this year. Took me a little bit to figure out what was going on, but someone replaced the boost sensor with a resistor so the boost reading was constant. Once I knew what was going on, I was able adjust it better. He could tell heading down the road it was much better. I might have to figure out what resistor they put in there and update my 6125.
Let me know what you find out, I’d love to improve this one. When I worked at the shop they always handed me the book and said “here you do it” lol. When I did this tractor, I remember it kept jumping over the blocks. I’m not sure if that means something is faulty or if I just didn’t have enough height on my blocks. The bad thing is I don’t have a computer to plug into it now so I’m limited to just the built in display functions.
@@rosstheoliverman It's supposed to drive over the blocks, that's how the computer figures out the minimum pressure it takes to make each range clutch to engage. So I guess it depends on how you define jumping. I've thought about making a video on it, but last I knew a reman transmission was 30K. I wouldn't want someone blaming me for their tranny going out.
I thought this one drove over rather violently, and if I remember right it climbed out before it was supposed to. I need to try it again, it’s been probably 7-8 years since I did it and who knows what the tractor went through in that time. I’ve only owned it a year even though it lived right across the road and even sat over here for over a year before I made the deal.
Good looking tractor to me
Thanks Shawn!

Hi Ross, thanks for sharing Michael ☺️
Hope you have a great New Year's 🎉🎊🥂🍻
Thanks Michael! I hope you have a good New Year’s as well!
Looks like it finishes nice.
It does! I borrowed one several years ago and knew I had to have one. It makes harvesting so much nicer when it’s level.
@@rosstheoliverman we usually drug a harrow across for a final finish, no need with that!
We used to do that too. I got tired of throwing that harrow on and off the disc to move it from place to place! Haha.
I use the clutch whenever possible. I find clutches easier and cheaper than transmission to replace.😁

That’s a good dog
He’s a faithful friend that’s for sure!
