By the end when it will be done how it will be registered into car papers ? Will you guys take it to BMW for inspection or approved mods or something at least like a new VIN because i know police on regular traffic stops like to check out VIN, car papers, valid inspections insurance.. illegal mods.. etc and those who are doing this sort of things need to obtain a new certificate of homologation for the new build with all mods & new specs otherwise the car will be impounded & confiscated for illegal mods (even destroyed in some countries) by cops. That would be really bad since i know this project is going to be a cool wagon..
Yes it’s going to be registered over properly and all documented then insured correctly with the modification as yes it’s a very gray area as I think some people have had them taken off them because they were built from stolen cars id be happy for bmw to inspect the car afterwards think it would be nice to know if they approve 👍

I bought salvage complete rear quarters so i got the panels and the wheelhouses together for @touringm3
Yeah, that may be the only way to get the complete package now, the wheelhouses seem difficult to come by from BMW now!
Quattro coachworks fit the carbon roofs. Evolve can supply it

Loving the videos guys. For the Carbon Roof, Imran from Evolve recently added a carbon roof to his touring. Yes his is the newer model but i think he is worth the call. Looking forward to seeing the finished result

Lads I was in Egerton's trying to get a bike back a couple months back an in their they had the carky green one an the yellow one in that e46 yellow sitting side by side been took by the oldbill cuz they were ringers but what a shame the oldbill have took a few of em from brum so keep ya paper work lads an I really carnt wait for these episodes coming up an stokes I didn't know that about the e30 rear an they got a dog box aswell ain't they an this is my favourite video yet keep em coming

Got some body work on those rear wings lads. It’ll look good once done. I’d change the colour too, maybe a dark green alpina colour

Interesting. FYI - F82 M4 mirrors will not fit a saloon or estate F30 / F31. You will need F80 mirrors instead.
Makes sense as the m4 have piller less doors 👍
Just checked part codes and they seam to be the same but we will soon see at my expense 🤣

Hi mate, good luck with the build! You’ll definitely need the f80 mirrors, I’ve done this conversion myself and I bought m4 mirrors first and they didn’t fit, so had to buy f80 mirrors. I sold mine last year but was a brilliant car to own!
Wings are different on the m4 iv already tried fitting on a 3 series and they sit differently on the A post 😬

Evolve automotive recently did a video on the carbon roof on a new m3 estate. I think they mentioned the supplier of the roof on the video. Maybe try contacting the supplier 😊

Just bought a cat s f80 m3 and if its not economical to repair ,the running gear will be going in a 1 or 2 series.
It definitely needs a rear 1/4😂
Cant wait to see this build progress,top content,love the genuine banter and the crack you lads have 😂 Only downside is your m estate build won't sound as nice my recently bought e93 m3 😉 thats just my opponion so worth sod all 😂 I do agree with you guys that bmw missed a trick with not doing a m3 estate until most recent model.
You can’t beat the sound of that v8 💪
Stage 2,primary de cats so she's loud if on a spirited drive "cough cough " but lovely v8 burbles if,driven in low rpms.. your estate is going to look the dogs and will sound lush even if 2 pistons and a litre missing 😂 it'll piss all over mine I've no doubt,I looked at m4s but the v8 is bucket list motor so I bought a later lsi model with edc etc.

Yes someone has mentioned this I have checked part codes and they are different so yes wings are different

M cars come with carbon roof mate so it’s gotta be carbon 😂
You can actually get a m3 and m4 with a sunroof but the roof is a metal roof not carbon and they don’t fetch the same sort of money as the carbon roof as m cars are more drivers cars then luxury

Just found your channel and subbed. Please DON'T do any dodgy/tacky things like tinting the headlights/fake chinese random coloured badges or wrap it or make it some awful colour, use a rare BMW individual colour? And OEM or genuine aftermarket wheels please, nothing 'scene' or youtuber style junk, I'd put money on it other people will agree it's nicer to see real cars vs silly 'scene' mods/wraps/rep wheels/fake parts etc - the fact that you've bought genuine quarters and cutting them up, proves you're on the same page as my thinking, so please continue on this path as it's respectful to the build/donor. Just my 2 Pence ;) Syked for this anyways!
Thanks mate we are a big believer of oem plus so it will be a bmw couloir (maybe Ferrari roso red) factor option couloir so mod wise it be how we think it be out of factory thanks for the subscribe really appreciate it 💪
Perfect, loving the sound of that mate! I personally cant stand these soul-less sponsored builds full of rep parts and tat/dodgy wrapped parts - usually of which are a carbon copy of whatever someone else is currently doing in another country 'original' much 🙄 Oh and they tend to do F all of the build themselves as well! Finance modifying much hahaha "the bank called, they want to know why you're modifying THEIR car' haha!
