Norm just pure class here. As sincere, maybe, as I've seen him. Very clear how much love is there.
Norm respected comedy above all else and Farley was perhaps the greatest sketch comedian of all time (Ferrell is close)
Norm is such a cool person. My favorite comedian and one of my favorite celebrities.
Norm liked Farley so much that he resisted any wisecracks when remembering his departed friend. Touching.
It's a shame that both of these guys are gone.
… I know. Having lost Howard Stern 20 years ago was one of the saddest days of my life.

I spoke to Chris on the phone once, nicest guy on the world. We talked for 10 minutes, which blew my mind because had I been him, I would have hung up on this 18-year old twerp after about a minute, but he didn’t. He took time out of his schedule and I’ll always appreciate that.

Other comedians talk about Farley the way musicians talk about Prince. They knew he had something different and was just on a different level. You always needed to open for them, because going on afterwards meant there was nothing left, the audience had already torn the house down.
Norm is also a guy other comedians talk about in the way they talk about Farley.
Well and aptly put. That's a great comparative point regarding Prince with his musical talent/Farley with his comedic talent. It's wasn't 'just' that. They were/are bigger than what they put out, performed and did in their repective areas. So much more than entertainers. I adore Prince and think we got the best out of what he offered us -which was vast ,varied and layered. He has plenty of unreleased stuff even .
With Farley - It def seems a life cut far too short .. with so much more in store. I wonder about how he would've evolved and grown .
Then again ,maybe that's selfish. He's not in pain anymore .

Norm was great but...Farley. He will always be one of my favorites. Adam Sandlers tribute to him always gets me.
Farley was such a sad, tragic person. I felt so sorry for him. I actually felt guilty laughing because he hated himself so much because he was overweight 😢😭
Yet Howard Stern absolutely hated Chris Farley and Adam Sandler, during their prime he constantly denigrated their movies. Howie is such a fraud.

I have yet seen someone who worked on SNL with Chris Farley talk about him for more than a minute without getting a little emotional.
I still remember the day Farley died. I was in 6th or 7th grade. The internet wasn't really a thing quite yet. I was devastated.
