They say Norm died of cancer but I’d like to know where O.J. was at the time of death.
nice
That's an easy one - he was out on the golf course looking for Nicole and Ronald's killer.
It was probably Laura Kightlinger. ( look it up kids )
He was last seen wearing his lucky stabbing cap
Searching for his gloves
That joke Norm made about OJ being in the hall of fame for DEFENSE is genius.
Hah, I just got that.
I thought that was a mistake. LOL!
@@BillGraper even Dennis Miller thought he made a mistake
That one rushed right past me
Award for best Offensive ?
“ I’m the greatest rusher to judgment.”
God, I love Norm. 😂😂😂
Part of the beauty of Norm is waiting for the zinger but it never comes ... until you least expect it. That's why Miller is constantly laughing when Norm speaks. The anticipation is fun even when the joke hits flat. Norm has incredible timing.
@@piteusx8440 by his perfectly timed mistiming, or expected unconventionality
😂😂🔥🔥👏👏
Norm unlocked the code to counter the Cancel Culture...using sarcasm. A lot of people in this world take everything so literal. He was pure comedic genius
"Was he taking a break from looking for the real killer?"
Gold.
When he said he was gonna look for the real killer he just meant he was gonna do some soul searching
That joke was gold in 1998 maybe
Yes, but a joke done by Norm on Weekend update as well
@@RoyArrowood lmao
Lol*
The giddiness of Dennis Miller every time Norm speaks is so heart warming.
Yes!
Dennis held Norm in high esteem
He's practically in tears, it's delightful
There's like a 3 hour compilation of Norm calling into Dennis Miller's radio show and I never get tired of it.
Dennis knew Norm was just a step beyond. The sharpest of a generation.
At least this OJ character isn’t a hypocrite, that’s the worst part
So I say, by god, I says, at least he's not a damn hypocite, because, by god, that's the worst part!
Not for me. For me it was the murdering and the lying and then perhaps the scheming.
But he is a hypocrite.
All or Nothing yeah I mean we all know the main enemy of the German is THE WORLD.
At least O.J. killed someone...lmao oh shit hahaha
Norm is smart enough to stop making jokes about a killer on the loose.
This is funny because it's true.
lmao that's probably partly what he was going for I just caught that
At first you'll think this comment was a put down on Norm.
Then you realize, it's actually a Norm Macdonald joke.
@Ascended Master Fack, thanks, English is my second language :/
@MythicASMR afraid or not it's hilarious to see him trying not to say anything bad about crazy OJ, like "hey let's not poke the bear" 😂
My favorite Weekend Update joke was Norm's bit about how women drivers cause more fender benders while men cause more serious accidents.
Then he says the numbers in the graphs don't add up to 100 because the math was done by a woman.
The crowd groans (especially women).
Norm tells them that joke was written by a woman, and the crowd is confused.
Then he hits them over the head with "No, I'm just kidding we don't hire women. "
My favorite as well. The writing, and the delivery are just pitch perfect.
It killed me when I saw it.
It killed me again just reading it.
Agreed...but you have to hear Norm deliver it with impeccable timing and inflection...while he has that smile on his face. Wadda legend!
As a woman... it's my favorite Norm joke too! I die laughing every time!
@@chick_nuggs9318
Yep,
I truly don’t understand people who get offended so easily…
Of course, I don’t really think there should be a taboo subject when it comes to comedy..
When Miller's face lit up gushing about Norm doing OJ jokes... Gold. Rare to see genuine, unscripted sentiment on these kinds of programs. Loved it.
James Hyde I hear it all the time . He’s the comedians comedian
"In his book, O.J. Simpson says that he would've taken a bullet or stood in front of a train for Nicole.
Man I gotta tell ya, that is some bad luck when the one guy that would've died for you...
_kills_ you"
That's my personal pick for the best joke on Weekend Update.
How about this one: It was revealed today that O.J Simpson told police that Nicole Brown Simspon used to beat him up. He also claim that she and Ron Goldman killed him"
OK got engaged and the woman broke it off. I forgot her name. But Norm said , " The reason? She was afraid that she would be brutally murdered and they would try to pin it on O.J. "
@@briangriffin8106 heey be careful those are my lucky stabbing gloves

Well in his defense, oj never sed he would take a carving knife for her.
“Did you ever work with Farley?”, Kevin Nealon and his nonchalant sarcasm😂
He has a totally different style of comedy, but man, your right, that nonchalant stuff he does is brilliant.

“All that for that” classic Norm delivery.
Wasn’t that spade who said that
Pretty funny tho
The joke works better in Norm's book.
Yoooo ten thumbs! Thanks for teaching me uke
Second time I’ve heard Spade say that after a Norm joke. He’s always so jealous of Normie.
I love how he calls him out.
On a bad joke.
Hot take: Dennis Miller is I'm Not Norm. Nobody appreciates norm as much as Dennis, it's such a delight to watch them interact
Big Twist: It's O.J. Simpson.
Now who's the greatest rusher to judgment?
They need a Sirirus XM radio show or a podcast together like yesterday!! i'm not the biggest Dennis miller fan but I believe hes at his best well hes working with Macdonald and Miller brings out the best of Mcdonald as well.
@D. I thought it turned out to be some chick in Seattle.
It's just some random dude making money with unlicensed merch
Norm is I’m not norm
My favorite/dumbest Norm WU joke:
"At #1 on the music charts this week: Better Than Ezra.
At #2: Ezra."
I remember that one .

Fuck, I remember that joke
It actually is true. O.J. has been doing very well lately. He's killing it.
this one i like very much

The trophy attack spoke volumes about his character.
OJ's bio was changed to football player-slash murderer.
He's already done that 2 times.

“The one they used to rebuild 9/11”

What a terrible name for a crane, reminds me of that tragedy.
Lmfao
Terrible name for an airline.
subtly worked in there
4:08 that joke went completely over their head. “All defense hall of fame” not “all offense” which they tried to correct him to say 😂. He made “all defense hall of fame for his defense teams getting him out of that murder case” 😂
Yeah I already commented on that. Well done, to be fair it took me three watches.
Stephen Strang I’m a big Norm fan. I love his dead pan jokes
Wow > went right over my female head
Miller had the best Weekend Update joke: "If you'd like a transcript of tonight's show, write down everything I just said."
O shit! I totally forgot about that one
One of my favorite ones from Kevin Nealon:
" ...In other news, recent studies show that three out of four doctors
leaves one doctor."
steve martin used that in his oscars monologue, maybe martin lifted it
I thought Nealon did that line.
And I am outta here!!!✍️✍️
That OJ Simpson is a real jerk
The worst part about OJ is the hypocrisy.

@Anna Mozatee Whether they find adam sandler funny or not isnt really discussed here. They are talking about who "killed" hardest during the weekend update segments, in other words, who got the biggest applause from the crowd. They even say that Dana Carvey turned the weakest material into huge laughs. Whether or not you like him, adam sandler\s bits on WU crushed (opera man, hannukah song, etc) And yes, each one of these guys ARE masters. Each one with a very unique delivery and sense of timing.
@Anna Mozatee yes the 2000s were not a good time for Sandler. But his old comedy CDs STILL crack me up. I'd go as far to say Sandler's a much better comedian than Spade
His most recent standup special was pleasantly surprising
@Anna Mozatee He's better with the movie production stuff, I think that's what he focuses on.
@The Colour Green I don't have a problem with far right, but Miller isn't *far* right by any standard except far left.
Norm looks too old for my liking here. He kind of needs to live forever.
He's only 5 years older than Spade.
That youtube channel "i am not norm" is killing him
That’s kind of what I was thinking, it’s been a minute since I saw it but even since the show he had on Netflix, he seems to have aged a fair bit since then (I think).
He’s lost weight and isn’t dying his hair. Whatever! He’s startling good looking in person whatever his superficialities are. I sat next to him at a counter at breakfast one time, and SWOON! Those eyes!
I think he just ages naturally, not trying to look like a hollywood star. nothing wrong with that.
Dennis Miller has always been head over heels for Norm
@Ringo Garvin lmao
@@bamadeadhead Dennis gave Norm his first job, mentored him whenever he could, had him on his tv and radio shows as often as he could make Norm do it. And he constantly fawns over him. Miller loves Norm.

Norm is effortlessly funny, it’s amazing to watch. Everyone is constantly laughing before he ever delivers a punch line, and his payoff is always a blend of expected and unexpected.
this should be a mandatory casting for the show every month at least. you could even mix it up with some sandman and carvey there bud.

Its Insane! Its like seeing the before and after pictures of a US president. I think this over the top PC world has finally broken our beloved Normmie boy.... He's still just as quick and funny as ever but theres a little glimmer seemingly missing from his eyes these days
Norm really really wanted to take over Letterman's late night show and had it been up to Letterman, I believe Norm would've been his successor but the network didn't agree with Lettermans view point and I've alwayed speculated that when Letterman went to Netflix to negoaite a deal to do a long form interview show on there platform... I've always imagined, that Letterman went to bat for Norm at the same time by refusing to sign a deal unless they agreed to work with Norm as well (Dave had a excutive producer credit on Norms netflix show if i recall correctly)
Norm was the happiest and most excited i've ever seen, to have landed the Norm Macdonald show on netflix and likely took extra pride in the fact that Letterman was a producer of the show and I think Norm feels turmendous guilt in letting his hero Letterman down, though like a father and son, I dont think Norm could ever truly disappoint Letterman... and yet, the cancellation of his show has vary clearly put a great amount of stress, guilt and burden onto Norm.
One can only hope Norm bounces back greater then ever before, but seeing him these days I can't help but wonder if his... his greatest irrational fear is rapidly approaching him... I of course hope thats not the case.
