1 part portland cement, 3 parts sand. Add water to make mixture stick together. Too much water and it gets hard to elongate the shape after mixture is put in stocking. Have fun.

You can leave pantyhose (nylon) on after the cement mixture dries. She put a piece of metal into the side of the nylon (before the mixture had dried) so she could add a beak later.

What material do you use? We quickly used cement and finished the heads with clay. Now the clay does not adhere to the cement body.

it looks like she majkes the beak out of a cement clay. You will find a good recipe for cement clay by checking out videos by Venna's Nature.

it's called make make in Denmark. don't know if you can get the same where you live. but it is a form of clay that becomes as hard as cement
