Sigmas are introverted wise and intelligent warriors, going on their own way and pace, fully independent, do not need anyone, if they choose people, it's because they genuinely want them, but do not need them, they are the lone wolves that can handle alphas and their crews all by themselves, they are the quiet people who will defend themselves if needed and the ones who are innocent and do not know how to fight back, they will fight anything and anyone who tries to harm them, all alone, they are the ones who grind for success,
We are the ones who are called Sigmas,

I think Sigma males are mostly used to the "hate", but deep down Sigma males prompt others to grow and mature by example. The "hate" is just their reaction to the prompt, and what they do thereafter says a lot about them, good or bad.

Yes agreed. I consider myself to be Sigma and certain types of people, usually dudes, flat out hate me. Like from the beginning, first meeting and by what I call "low status" males who wish they were high.
Been battling them since the playground and then on to the shop floor. Got to the point where I beat them profusely and win every time.
The thing is that when it's over, they are genuinely nicer people and more so, the social dynamic flips and people start being nice to one another. I guess this supports the commenter's thoughts that after the battle comes the calm

I've been working IT mainly at the 'leading edge' , for 40 years. Some of my projects have been high profile and newsworthy. Some have been 'world first's, or solutions that were said to be impossible. But I never stay in a job for more that four years, often less because at some point I get 'Shafted'. IE I end up being very unpopular. My managers have either taken credit for my work, or refused to recognise its significance. In truth it wasn't significant to them because i refused to play the game. I've sometimes asked myself, 'why didn't I ever get to a senior level when i can do all these things? This video has now explained it. At the age of 71, I've been working for 50 years and am still working and getting new opportunities. I'd say to my younger self and say to others seeing this video, stick with it!

you have to go beyond the discomfort of distancing yourself from the tribal beliefs, which usually also means you’ll disconnect yourself from its acceptance and support. This will shock some of you: I spend NO time watching professional sports. Why? I was not in that business! I didn't want to be just a sheeple, and I would rather use my time doing something better like making money. I had an interesting job, in time they would call me to solve their "problems". It got to the point where they did not care what it cost just solve the problems and justify the financial costs. Then I told them how much they owed me. I traveled a lot (West Coast and Alaska, etc.). I worked alone usually and loved it. I was like a rattlesnake on the tarmac. People were nice but careful around me because there were problems they definitely did not want to have. I carried a million dollars worth of liability insurance. I got respect. I miss it now that I'm retired and have everything I want!

It is a powerful ground of integrity that a Sigma uses without getting a drive for showing his ego. This is where Sigma' s have their strength. One thing I do question is....could a Sigma co-exist within society, and learn about the popular norms without conforming to them? Or find a popular norm they would prefer, and fit with an approach of their own ideas?

Agreed. We resist the flight response from an early age. We retain our life lessons and observe the mistakes of our peers. We read people and situations. We know that silence unnerves most people and causes them to reveal themselves. We do not fear being alone or the dark. We are comfortable with conflict and being judged. Our confidence in our own abilities is born of experience.
Fear is not our drug. Courage is the only answer.

I agree, I graduated from college with a business degree a year ago, but I am a sigma male and people hate what they don't understand. I don't ever expect anyone to follow me, but upper management always sees me as a threat. I have been in between jobs the past year because I don't kiss a$$ towards upper management. It seems working in the office is about kissing a$$. There is a lot of incompetent people working in jobs that are not qualified. I lost my job because I was reserved and careful with my words. 99 percent of my problems are with upper management, but the thing is I don't ever have problems with my coworkers. It only tells me that upper management don't like what they can't control. I believe now that I am the point that I could no longer work for the man. I have to start my own business and fly solo because working for a company brings jealousy and sabotaging.

I don’t follow crowds, I’m not a “yes man”, I see people for who they really are, I stand up and speak up for what I feel is right and the list goes on. I march to the beat of my own drum. I’m not a follower and I’d rather be alone than with a crowd of people. I don’t easily trust people and I distance myself from others. I have a bad temper and I prefer to keep it under control. So yeah, I guess I’m a Sigma.

A trend that I have noticed enough now that i am comfortable with publicly voicing after watching, studying the chats of and weighing up to people I know personally who , without a doubt embody the characteristics of the subject matter (Empaths, sigmas, INFPs etc) would never write self declaring comments on videos about their said characteristics let alone watch videos related to these traits and respond in modesty and infact in my real life experience people ive met who tend to self declare these types of traits usually turn out to be quite the opposite, both knowingly or unknowingly through cognitive dissodence, narcissism or straight up sociopathy. In saying this, I hope to god that Im actually tottally wrong about this and I have had just a one-in-a-million bad social run in my lifetime.
