Thank you, i never heard about "social driving". I live in France and we're driving very close to each other in the cities, but i'll try and apply your advice of always seeing the tires of the car in front of me make contact with the road. I'll see what my driving teacher will say !

I have a question , i was going to pick my kids up but there was an amazon van moving slowing with its blinkers on, i guess looking for an address,(we were going in opposite directions) he was not on his side but moving slowly right in the middle of the road but i passed near him half of my car was on the grass , he didn't give any way to pass but looked as shocked as if i did something wrong. I was thinking was it the blinkers , was i supposed to stop for him. Was it my fault or just his attitude.
