Thank you, sometimes I find it hard to pay 8 to 9 dollars for something that should cost 50 cents. Mine might not be as pretty but the boat don't care.

I thank you. Now I know how to secure my rollers on my boat trailer. I have those caps on mine. I think do mine like yours.

I think you need a bigger grinder for this job lol

Its funny you say that. I was grinding the inside of a fiberglass boat. I went to lowes and bought the biggest grinder they had. I don't think I made it a hour using it. I went back and bought the smallest four inch grinder they had. That grinder is only good if you only need it for a few minutes. Yes it still looks new. LOL

I have a tip i will share with your followers. When the boat is off the trailer go to lowes or home depot get a 10 to 12 ft plastic pvc rain gutter and some 3/4 self drilling galvanized screws with flatheads. Split the gutter down the 10 -12 ft middle using your mini grinder with cutting disk now you have a piece to cover both bunks . place the pvc gutter over the bunks and screw the sides into the bunks every foot . You now have easy glide bunks that will last a very long time and relieve the stress on you and the winch. My 14ft flat bottom fully loaded can be pulled all the way to the winch post with just the rope. Tight lines boys!

nice job. you might be able to save some money. instead of buying new fenders, just sand it down and spray paint it with galvanized paint.

If you launch on salt water do yourself a favor and forget about using galvanized washers and steel axles. Replace the axle with stainless rod. You can order it from ebay for cheaper than buying precut steel axles. Most rollers use either 1/2" or 5/8" rod for axles. Buy a long enough piece to cut all your roller axles. Then buy SS316 washers and SS cotter pins. Don't use galvanized, they will just rust. This set up will last a lifetime and will continue to roll for years of saltwater use.
