Glad , I came across your video. Extremely helpful. Very clear instructions. This is the exact same install ( exact same parts )for Cabela's Bass Pro bunks in 2023 . Many thanks !
These video is great ! Its vocally great to easy to understand . Instructions are clear and great up close clear video !! Exactly the information I was looking for ! Thankyou !!👍👍👍😊
MAN! I’m glad I went to TH-cam and watched your video. I was going to Weld my brackets to the trailer. I found some of that same square tubing you have and made the Uprights with it. Thanks For This Great Video!

I purchased this because of your video after weighing all options of guides. This will help significantly. I have a 14’ v-hull with a tiller motor and the stern drifts away on me as soon as I hook up the front. The trailer has a crossbar up towards the front which prevents me from having the bunks too far out of the water; otherwise I’d have the trailer further out of the water to prevent that problem
My boat sits rather low in the trailer its a V hull. So i guess to protect the boat one could cut off the extended (unused ) portion of the large board braces that extend under the boat. But even with a flat bottom i think it might be possible to damage the hull if the boat came in contact with the end of those braces. So i would still trim them off if you are going to use that trailer for that same boat forever. Thanks for the video
Having a problem with securing the upright to the trailer. After placing the uprights into the channel and tighing the nuts they're loose. What I'm I doing wrong. thank you, Randall Arbini
I don't know if this would work, but I imagine it would. I doubt it has anything to do with the size of the boat. It probably has more to do with the placement on the trailer
My boat is fatter in the middle than at the stern, so I went for the same thing but single and much shorter. But I'm wondering if I'll need another pair further up, near the fat middle..?
I noticed you also had previously mounted roller guides on the trailer. I just bought a boat and trailer with none of these and trying to decide which ones to get. I only want one set. Which do you like or recommend as better? I have a 13' whaler. Thanks.
Those actually came on the trailer when I bought it. Best thing to do, is to go to a dealer and ask them. OR...... just go to a boat lot and look at what is on the new trailers that compare with yours. Hope this helps.
@@PhilCrockett they scratched the shit out of my boat. Damaged gelcoat. Im taking them off . I have an M hull. Maybe thats why. It’s not a lemon. I got spare parts from E trailer and the same shit happened.
wow! that does suck! I don't blame ya for ditching them. I love mine, but as you can see, my boat is a floating pie tin. It's all scratched up from years on the Missouri River. It's a brutal river!
Thank you ! Just finished my installation. Used your video every step of the way.. very very well spoken. God bless you!
Glad it helped

It has been an amazing product for me

Yes, every once in a while a fella has to customize things to fit their toys. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment, Dave!
But what is the recommended gap between board and side of boat??

You might try turning the whole bracket around at a 90° turn
Very nice mod. I wonder if it would work on my tracker 170. I’m looking for a mod that would drive the boat strait to the winch.
I don't know if this would work, but I imagine it would. I doubt it has anything to do with the size of the boat. It probably has more to do with the placement on the trailer
thanks a lot for the sharing
My pleasure!

dry fit everything to see how it looks before drilling. There's no rules on where to put it. Just do what works for your needs

How far away should bunk boards be from a fiberglass boat?
A couple inches at max
Thank you!!
no prob, Roger!
What about your bottom running boards?
Running boards?
Where do I find this kit and how much is it ?
I dropped a link in this video description. Hopefully that will help.
This unit sucks. The brackets bend very easily when your boat rubs against them.
interesting.... mine is still going strong and I use it a lot. I wonder if you got a lemon.

@@PhilCrockett they do help align the boat on the trailer. But with my particular situation, it has its flaws
