it is like her song "american teenager". the song is so smart and dark, full of social criticism and melancholic mood, but on the other side a happy pop song about pride of herself and where she come from. an optimistic and at the same time profound song. and she looks the same here in the interview

I can’t get over how not withholding she is. Usually artists of her caliber, who create work that invites analysis, work that makes you want to sit and contemplate it, are so withholding. Like David Lynch, just refusing to explain or contextualize or to contaminate the individual listener/viewer/reader’s interpretation in any way. I’m constantly surprised at how forthcoming she is in that way, it’s such a treat
she's truly one of the best artists out there and she's extremely talented, I can't wait to see her live. and she seems like an amazing person and she's so smart and well spoken. Hayden if you're seeing this I love you

there are like 8300 "I Do It For Dale" shirts all over the place because of NASCAR -- I will admit I like the way this one's laid out better than most of the ones I've seen, lol, bc I definitely found that out for the same reason, BUT if you google "I Do It For Dale t-shirt" you will find something to buy for the lyric instead of Earnhardt (or both! maybe you want it for both!)
