The highlight outside of this one in this game for me was seeing Pete Carroll just stop an angry/yelling Geno Smith (mad about lack of clock stoppage/reset) just basically say slow your roll and reset. You saw Geno lock back in and get fired up en route to a field goal. That moment right there told me this is probably why Geno's playing as well as he is last few weeks. It's not just having a couple notable receivers, it's the dude has a coach that clearly believes in him and especially seems to have trusted him ever since playing trickery against the 49ers week 2. Having a guy like that in your corner can do wonders. Kudos to Smith for continuing to be arguably *the* story of the season.

@@rileyjones214 even in the award description it can be awarded to players that have rebounded from very poor performance. this is definitely a comeback year for geno, especially if he keeps it up for the rest of the season.
