Can you tell me the exact size of the trail Max tires you have and where you purchased yours? So many letters and numbers. I have a CBX 2019 and really like the looks of the Trail Max. Thanks for the great channel and info shared.
@@OregunAdventure they don't have 160 for the rear ,but for the front they have . The velocity letter is M and the original tyre is H. In Europe we can have Issues with that.

Shinkos are cheaper so prolly harder compound. 50/50 will be softer but the weight and height is from thicker face and bead edge. That front should be good for water...lots of siping. The Dunlops on factory klr are good long distance and a little more dirt oriented. Dunlop make good stuff. It all depends how much you ride and where. Rolling resistance increases as you get more luggy tread.

Have seen a lot of reviews on this Dunlop TrailMax Mission tire, and all seem to be really positive--let us know how it performs when you are on dirt roads. I am considering a cb 500x after thinking I would just get a crf 250l (I rode bikes as a kid in the Midwest growing up but consider myself a beginner rider). If the 500x performs decently with good tires on dirt roads/forest roads/mountain roads, which is where I envision spending a fair amount of time, I might go for it, as if I do want to do miles on pavement, it would be more comfortable than the 250l. Keep us posted--love the channel!
Hey mate, Forget the 250. My 2019 cb500x is lit. 20000 kms in all road conditions, here in South Western Australia in 6 months. So much fun, added a few accessories & ride this thing in all weather conditions. 2019 model so much better than it's predecessors. Also make sure you have enough dollars for good protec gear. KOMINE wear is awesome & good value for the dollar investment. Just make sure you get the real deal,as their stuff is so good, there's plenty of Asian counterfeit copies out there. Yes, from what I have seen about the 2019, the improvements made on the bike really make a difference, especially the 19 inch front wheel, I absolutely will get good protective gear and make the necessary investment (I'll check out the Komine gear) -- big medical bills and/or being out of work due to injuries costs a lot more than really good gear, that is for sure. 4-5000 miles...??? they tested and got an AVERAGE of 8000 on the back, and the front was only half way.... you'll get pleeennttyyy of miles out of those tires!

I could, however it does say in the manual how different size tires and sprockets could affect the abs. I feel the abs is fine.
