    I find it immensely helpful that the enigma offers the ability to transition depth of concealment based on unexpected changes in the daily itinerary

      @@demonstratedconceptsllc4918 Very informative, as I'm a total noob to actually owning a firearm (I don't own one yet). However, I'm learning a lot more from your video than I've learned from the previous 10 videos from other channels. You're one of the only individuals that actually demonstrates his techniques! So I gotta ask is that shoulder strap for the likes of "John Mcclane" (played by Bruce Willis in Die Hard) still a thing? ...Because I get the impression from other YT channels that no one carries like that anymore.

    Whoa, that sock hack just blew my mind. Have an Enigma inbound, and was sad that the Papoose isn’t currently available… So I’ve spent the last few days thinking about the best way to DIY one. Your method is genius (and easily washable).

    I’ve been doing something similar for years with a bellyband. I call it the the Bundy draw as in Al Bundy. It also gives you the option to put your hand on your grip preemptively without actually showing the gun like you can with pocket carry too. It’s the best of all words IMHO.
    Edit: another great thing is if someone does get the jump on you and they try to shake you down, because of the weapon location, they may very well miss it, and as soon as they let their guard down, it may give you an opportunity to draw on them.

    When you switch between deep carry (gun completely concealed) to "traditional" AIWB carry, what is moving, the holster, or your pants/beltline? Is the holster always in the same spot and you're adjusting your waistband or does the holster move and the waistband remains in the same place?

    • @demonstratedconceptsllc4918

      With this system, belt does not matter. In this video I'm wearing a cheap amazon webbing belt. It is totally floppy, ad a terrible gun belt.

    How would this compare to the lcrx 3" revolver? I imagine concealability would be similar, but would the hammer of the lcrx get in the way of the draw, or impact concealment some other way? I'm a new handgun shooter looking into a .22 revolver for a first concealed carry piece, and I can't decide between the lcr .22 or the lcrx .22. Love your channel, and keep up the great work! :)

    • @demonstratedconceptsllc4918
      @demonstratedconceptsllc4918  3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      With a bobbed hammer, the LCRx is an excellent carry gun. Without bobbing the LCRx, the LCR is a superior carry gun. An exposed hammer pokes the belly, catches on clothing, and tempts the user to fire single action which is generally a bad idea in defense use.

    my immediate carry sweet spot is under my belly bc if its any higher and on my stomach in a valley it still pushes on belt loops and protrudes through my tshirt, the only way for me rn to 100% hide it is on my pelvic bone.

    Is this a good option for someone in a wheelchair and that has a belly? More and more lately, I've been wearing a lot of sweatpants for comfort as oppose to jeans. The problem though is conceal carrying a firearm during the warmer weather. In the colder season I can do a shoulder carry, but not in the warm season. I'm also trying to eat healthier and do some upper body exercise to lose the belly, but that'll take awhile for me, especially in my condition. So for the warmer season I do an AIWB carry, but like I said earlier I've been wearing more sweatpants lately. I was thinking of trying a holster with an ulti-clip, but that'll just probably make the gun and holster flop over forward since the sweatpants will not be able to fully carry the weight of those. This looks like a really good option for me. I just want to know how comfortable it is sitting down a lot. I would imagine the draw stroke would be similar with an AIWB holster and belt. And no, I do not want a fanny pack option. LOL. I also don't want an off-body option (like a holster attached to my wheelchair).

    • @demonstratedconceptsllc4918
      @demonstratedconceptsllc4918  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This would be much more comfortable, concealable, and accessible in sweats in a wheelchair than any other option I’ve found.

      I despise low rise. Flex/stretch is big. Look for something 'crossfit' or 'powerlifter approved'. I really like LAPG jeans one size up in waist. These were all my preferences before Enigma. Now they are mandatory.
