I love this concept and cp33. Have had mine for awhile, looking to get some budget or most value upgrades since currently have did any. Also looking at getting a 9mm and setup similarly. Any recommendations. Disabled vet here so limited income.

Some aguila 22 ammo has actual lumps of bullet lube so thick it won't chamber in a revolver at all.

That lube also gets into magazines. Rotary magazines need to be cleaned often but stacked mags too. That stuff is a nuisance. And, yes it does indeed foul revolvers too sticking cases in the chamber.

Some comments say a few Punch rounds have stovepiped, maybe because of the angle in the magazine. Did you clean the wax off these rounds as you've done with your other .22 handguns? I'm wondering if those flat nose bullets would load more consistently with or without the wax?

Great stuff! I've noticed that your Shockwave vids over the last couple years seem to feature tall/AR-height optic mounts, whereas in your very early videos you preferred low-mounted optics to achieve the proper cheek weld. Have you moved to higher mounts across the board for stockless guns nowadays?

My 1998-manufacture PT22 has been rock-solid reliable. I also have two more of the Taurus tip-ups in .25ACP; they perform similarly. I've heard the later, polymer-framed version (the PLY-22) isn't typically as reliable. This one appears to be an updated version of that one. Being that I don't carry any of mine, I'm not in the market for this one, but it does look kinda handsome. Incidentally, I also own a Beretta 21A in .22LR, and it is not at all reliable. It won't run more than three rounds of CCI MiniMags before failing.

I purchased this stuff online from both Palmetto State and another site last year. After the purchase, I heard some internet rumors that this was not a true 00 buck (.33 cal) load. Sure enough, I cut two shells open from two random 25-rd boxes in the 10-box case and ascertained that these were in fact 9-pellet #1 buck (.30 cal) loads, as confirmed by my caliper. What a ripoff! There's a huge performance difference between 9 x 33-cal pellets vs 9 x 30-cal lead balls. Shame on Fiocchi for false advertising.

Sir, you are using a 100' clothe tape in engineers scale. The minimum depth is 0.55' not 5.5". It is pronounced fifty five hundreds of a foot. I am a land surveyor that's why I noticed. 0.55' equals 6 and 5/8's inches. Not 5 and 1/2 inch. You can tell because your tapes foot increments only go up to 0.9' not 11inches. Fun fact of truth.

12 inches in gel is a handgun standard. I think if you're pushing out 2 magazines worth of projectiles from a 2 3/4 #4 buck shell, that's going to be adequate.

Just clean your damn guns after each use and this won’t ever be a problem. For some damn reason guys are like “I’ve shot a half million rounds though it and it doesn’t have issues” as a sign of reliability. That’s fine and all for your “range” gun but for duty or carry weapons just clean the damn thing every time or maximum every other time you shoot it and you will never have a problem with it miss-feeding due to fouling. It’s really that simple.

The recoil springs on this design are in the gripframe on both sides of the magazine. It has a wide grip because of that. Increasing magazine capacity is difficult here.

That tip up barrel makes the TUC more reliable up close. Very unlikely to push the slide out of battery. Contact shots are probably doable.

I recently started carrying a philster holster because of your recommendation, I also just bought a recoil strap because of your proficiency with it on birdshead shotguns! I was wondering if you had an optic you would recommend for that type of shotgun as well?

Carry with one in the Chamber it's a Glock and will never go off unless you pull the trigger. Just don't carry your keys with it 😂
