Klaverkoncerten over alle klaverkoncerter, spillet af et fremragende orkester og en af verdens dygtigste pianister Leif Ove Andsnes, det er vidunderligt. Thorkil Frandsen.
@@theartplayspace Believe me, I understand! Aside from his musicianship, he conveys a certain humility that I find very appealing. I get a sense that he himself is in awe of this music.
@@virginiam1899 Not sure if you stayed for the talkback, but he talked about how it took him 1.5 years to learn initially and about how much he loves the piece - he said that for a while he was kind of obsessed with it! You could really feel his love and passion for it - he was FEEEEEEELING it. I was in awe of HIS awe :)
What a wonderful performance from Andsnes and the orchestra as well. I have just come from watching old videos of Zoltan Kocsis playing this concerto. What a difference in speeds but equally interesting as well. How lucky we all are today to have these videos on TH-cam.
Remarkable pianist, extraordinary performance. Absolutely amazing the second movement. An excellent orchestra. Bravo, Maestro Andsnes and Maestro Bringuier
Maestro Andsness, I love you! Your amazing talent and technique is one thing, quite the other is your ability to read the score carefully and filter it through your soul to give us - the listeners - goosebumps along the whole performance! May God bless your soul forever! ❤
After hearing Andsnes perform and conduct Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy, this performance confirms my admiration for this outstanding pianist, technical and interpretive mastery of this monumental concerto.
It was from the historical interpretation of Weissenberg and Karajan that I did not hear such a perfect orchestral fusion between piano and orchestra. So rare to hear in RAchmaninov!
After listening to dozens of versions of Rach3, I find this a bit less expressive...virtuoso for sure, very soothing and pleasant, yet a tiny bit more reserved... very good, very subtle
Wonderful panning video shot behind the basses ... and Leif is ALWAYS extraordinary. The conductor is superb in his direction and connection with the orchestra.
It’s sad that only about 11,000 people have viewed this wonderful performance. XXXXXXXXX. One month later and I’m pleased to see over 1000 new people have viewed this superb performance. Tell all your friends about it! PS. At December 21 I’m pleased to see there are now 18,000 views it’s getting better all the time But should be much more
You and I, and 11,000 others have enjoyed it (with no dislikes; of course), billions of others may never know what they have missed, their bad luck, shame!
The pianist was really careful and giving special attention to non technical passages. I think that is what made him stand apart from the orchestra. They were it seems always trying to grasp his phrasing. Which was hardly noticeable. Yet I enjoyed both and will probably listen again.
Conductor and piano is not in time during 1st mvt after the unisono d-minor theme was announced. Rach 3 is a difficult piece . No doubt about that. But pls not this way. Thx.
L.ove Andsnes! Geni fra Karmøy! 🎉🎉🎉
The most lyrical version I've ever heard. Superlative.

Thorkil Frandsen.
A few days ago I listened to Leif Ole Andsnes at the Royal Albert Hall. I was struck by his precision and faithfulness to the score. A great pianist.
That's an understatement, he's heads & shoulders above most players.
Für mich einer der besten Pianisten unserer Zeit, die uneitle Klarheit und Schönheit seines Spiels ist wirklich unübertroffen........
Dem ist nichts hinzuzufügen, sehe ich absolut genauso!
Leif played with the Philadelphia Orchestra last night, and he was phenomenal! Such a subtlety to his playing! We could not contain our enthrallment!
YES - I came to TH-cam looking to see him again. It was an ASTONISHING performance!!! I haven't been able to stop thinking about it all day!
Was there as well. 3 rounds of ovations. Superlative performance !!!
@@theartplayspace I hope Leif returns to perform Rach2.

Did I really write that? Today, I found the soloist and Orchestra a bit out of touch with one another. Hmmm.
Leif Ove Andsnes displays an exquisitely delicate feeling for Rachmaninov's magnificent music
Best perfomance ever! Maybe better than the 1995 performance with the Oslo philarmonic. This is wonderful!!!
MAGNIFICENT TO LISTEN TO, AND A COMPLETE JOY TO WATCH.....

Breathless. Didn't think the Rach 3 could be better than some of my former favorite performances, but this is it!
Leif undoubtedly captured Rachmaninov's spirit as well as Lionel and his orchestra, Stellar performance, Thanks for sharing..
Great performance by the pianist. The orchestra is AMAZING!!!!

It can not get any better. Thank you Leif Ove Andesnes.

One of the top 5 piano concertos of all time, along with Grieg and Tchaikovsky, !!!!!
Adding Schumann's and Dvorak's to the list immediately! The Golden Five for me 😊
Lionel Bringuier must be one of the most underrated pianists and this performance should be on top of the "Best Rach 3" plays.
Lionel Bringuier is the conductor, not the pianist.
What a fantastic Performance !
ピアノの音すごい大きく聞こえる。よきよき
BRAVO 👏👏👏👏👏👏 Kazakhstan 🇰🇿
Great!!! Thank you, Leif! remember you in St.Petersburg with 3rd pianoconcert many years ago. What AN INSPIRATION it was!!!!!
Simply the best 🌹🙏

Recommend the Alexander Malofeev performance with Frankfurt on utube...it's Russian to the core...btw really like this soulful performance by Leif
めちゃくちゃ良い
Perfection......
Andsnes’s performance is unrivaled by any other performances
Nice to see Jean Sibelius playing the oboe
Ha, ha... Maybe he is his great great grandson, and he does not know it. Hush!
🤩🤩😍

Grats! As for the views, it seems the better the performance, the less views you get for classical music. Really great performance. Orchestra, too.
Magical. LOA = mint
The advertisements are very annoying.

Met veel gevoel maar ook heel nauwkeurig gespeeld!

This sounds almost exactly like Martha Argerich's legendary performance.
Great Ossia. Awful camera work.
