it looks promising of curse need lots of work, but other then that looks great. hopefully they will get more licenses for other German company's *Ahm* "Berlin S-Bahn (VBB operator)" and German trains, I really look forward to drive the "Siemens Desiro DDEMU" as it's also the train that runs in my country. TSW needs competition in the "Train Sim" market. " Thank you for showing the Beta. Stay safe 🙂
It'll be interesting to see where it goes. It's more like TSC than TSW as you can't get out and walk around. I'm guessing it'll have some kind of company earning thing given you have to buy every service you play.
I missed it during Next Fest but still had the bookmark to give it a try. I started pushing buttons, then somehow found myself outside the train. Still pushing the buttons as instructed, going nowhere of course because I needed to be inside:) Scenario failed. Can't imagine why:)
Good to see some more competitors enter the market. DTG need a bit of that to stop them resting on their laurels. As you say, this does seem promising. For one thing, unlike SimRail, they've begun with representing a country that has a solid market/player base. Yes, German is a bit boring, but at least it will attract players, which will help them get going. Also, I have to say, I prefer the colours of this compared to TSW's washed out look. But...there's much more to a simulator than that, and they will have a lot of work on their hands to get to where TSW is right now (and that's not even that good. haha).
It will be interesting to see where it goes. Hopefully they've licensed the branding so they survive and don't get hit with dcma or a trademark dispute. I do think DTG are doing ok but I also agree competition is good for players.
I've tried it and yah, it needs lots of work, UI is 'flat" and in my case some text didn't even fit on screen... As you noticed prompts to use buttons aren't correct, and needs lots of optimization... We will see once its released
@@trainsimulatordriver it'd be a huge reason for dtg to take things a little more seriously with the customer base as it wouldn't be much competition for train sim world if it's only on PC but I'm certainly going to follow the journey of train planet definitely curious to see if steam locomotives are added
@@denbaker7358 I'm curious why you think DTG don't take their customers seriously? Like every game company they can't cater to everyone so they cater to the 98% I do agree that any new simulator can cause an uplift in other simulators. This one is probably more a competitor to TSC or Trainz rather than TSW since it's game mechanic is the "player is the train" since you don't have an avatar and you can't walk around with it from train to train.
From Fishing Planet to Train Planet… hmm… Quite a change of track.
lol yeah, a bit like DTG - TSC -> TSW -> TSW2 -> Fishing -> TSW -> Catan -> TSW4 - what is next?

@@randomhodgepodge8902 yeah it needs some work to be useful

Thanks for reviewing
To early really for this but least it's something else
We'll see where it goes in time
I do like the gradient map.
yeah its like the one from Trainz - there are ideas in here from all the major train sims
Nice
Yeah it looks interesting and right now the price is right!

The most annoying thing to me is the massive and bright HUD. It's like they copied HUD elements from 10 different train games.
@@trainsimulatordriver true, parts of it are nice to have, but it needs redesign
Will this game come to PS4 please?
There's no mention of console on their steam page. I think they've got a discord, you could ask there
Is this coming to console
They've not announced it but you never know.

WHY does look ilke TSW so why need by it again 😖😖😖😣
It's not TSW it's a totally different game from another publisher
@@trainsimulatordriver ok thank you
@@michaelleahy3294 tsw wouldn't look this clunky lol
It's also not on the unreal engine so u can see a big difference
i don't like 😡
Ok, it's closer to TSC in player side if things but looks better
@@trainsimulatordriver thank you
