This is my Unboxing Video of the Hot Toys 1-6th Scale Limited Edition Collectible Figure of Jeff Bridges as Hot Toys Jeff Bridges Iron Monger from Marvel Cinematic Universe Iron Man.

The movie-accurate Iron Monger collectible is highly detailed, specially crafted based on the image in the film, highlighting a newly developed head sculpt of Jeff Bridges as Obadiah Stane, well equipped armor, light-up functions and weapons. Standing approximately 17.5 inches tall the Iron Monger Collectible figure makes a striking addition to any Iron Man display.

I definitely agree with you there!
That battery compartment door does open to 90 degrees so you can change the batteries with ease. You just have to apply some gentle force and it will open all the way. It is actually more like a double hinge.

I paid nearly $500.00 5 years ago. Keep in mind that the Hulkbuster is well over $1,000, the closet thing to this figure.

Hi, great review as always, my IM arrived today its great, the battery cover has to be wiggled out a few millimetres til the bottom edge is wedged behind the pivot end then because the cover is a slightly flexible plastic it will move out about 2 fingers wide then its easy. question is should i make a stand (supporting under the groin ) to relieve the cracked hips? cheers ian.
Thank you! WooHoo!! Are you lucky enough to have one NOT cracked? I haven't checked mine in quite sometime, I don't know what or if there is any further damage in the hips. I would think though that if you were able to relieve any stress on the figure it would be a good thing, AS LONG AS you are not damaging the paint with any figure stand that would be supporting there.
I love this figure, it's a beast and the most impressive technically structured HT figure yet. Though from what i'm hearing about the new upgrades to Hulkbuster that figure will soon take that title. Still Iron Monger is a great figure.
+delfra70 I agree completely with you! IF Hot Toys maintains proper quality, Hulkbuster will easily reign supreme, but yes, the way they did this figure is top notch!!
Yeah that's why the Hulkbuster release got pushed back to next year. A lot of collectors saw what King Arts did with their 1/9 scale Hulkbuster by making it where you can fit a whole Iron Man figure inside of it and started getting on HT's case about why they couldn't do the same thing with a 2-foot figure that's going to cost around $900 total. Now with the new upgrades you'll be able to fit a full bodied Mark 43 inside of the Hulkbuster. But yeah i'm loving Iron Monger bruh.

Lol yeah with that price and another push back it better be worth it, I have it on PO. I think HT had moved it back to Feb-March of 2017, pushing it back again says to me that they are definitely hard at work on the upgrades for it. Why not, we're paying damn near $900 for it man, it should be loaded. I do think this figure is certainly going to be the Holy Grail of many collectors. People whine a lot about so many Iron Man figures being made or re-done and I think we all know the HulkBuster is going to be that rare exception that get's made once and that's it. To anyone who dares think something as big, expensive and complex as Hulkbuster getting re-made they have lost their damn minds and are running on fumes. Delays, upgrades and all i'm getting this bad boy, because I know it's a one time deal and i'm not going to look back regretting passing on it when it costs $3,000-$4,000. I made that mistake with the Mark 4 Gunmetal Grey exclusive and I won't live that one down haha.
