Super jealous of you having this. This is really the only figure from the Iron Man franchise that i would WANT to get that i don't have already.

Definitely one of my most favorite figures in my collection. I do have to monitor (like everyone else) the tiny hairline cracks apparent in the pelvic groin joints every so often. But, otherwise, it is so gorgeous...one of Hot Toys' most beautiful pieces to date. It is so underrated and sometimes forgotten.

Nice catch, this is an iconic hot toys collectible. Almost the same buzz at time of its release as we had with Hulkbuster. 😊 i think the cracks are unavoidable, bit of battle damage is accepted. Hehe
Huge buzz and well deserved too! Its so awesome in hand. Before I picked it up I went back and watched your vid on it, really helped with some of the more fiddly bits on this guy! And yeah the cracks can be little battle damaged spots haha

I am absolutely a fan of Obadiah Stane (Iron Monger) I absolutely love his armor, too bad I don't have the money to buy this beauty.

Love this figure !!!! Just got it last week, it is truly a work of art !! The steampunk looks and massiveness is overwhelming! Luckily the joints in the hips have very minimal cracks .

Love this figure, but I have always thought 'where the hell do his legs fit ?' It seems totally out of proportion. I feel very sorry for any human trying to get into the Monger ! - cool villain though and awesome review !

Justin, I was actually able to fit him into one of my Detolfs by a little modification and sacrificing of a shelf. I wish I could share a pic. But, yes, he will need to occupy a double height space if you don't mind removing a shelf.
Also, I've had the figure since its first release and the little cracks will not, at all, affect it's durability, strength or articulation over time. The cracks will only ever be just cosmetic (a good thing).
Thank god I was worried about those cracks making the legs fall off!

I'm seeing a lot of toy reviews are starting to talk about it as of late. optibotmous is talking about it etc is that going to effect you? I just became a proud owner of this figure as well as the MK3 battle damage. This guy is SOOOOO GOOD. And, that's coming from someone who has the Hulkbuster (AOU). I'm posing him next to my 3A Fallout 1/6. They look like the mechanize-steampunk hit squad LOL. Thanks for the instruction/review as my 2nd hand fig came without instructions. Side note, I too have the same cracks in the front. No big deal; it blends in the design.
