I love the scene when Iron Monger comes online and chases Pepper. It reminds me of the first transformation scene with Ed Norton's Hulk. This first video of an enemy armor gets me excited for rumored upcoming Armor Wars content!
Fun Fact: There's a line called Iron man concept series and one of those figures featured is a IronMonger armor repaint called Battle Monger a Beta Hulkbuster or Pre-Igor armor you will yeah that armor could've been reconstructed into the Hulkbuster with a redesigned helmet but still!
I have the theory that Obadiah Is from Hydra. Since I watch Ironman 1 I always thought that Obadiah was behind Starks's Death. I think that He knew about the alternative Winter soldier serums and planed with Hydra killed the Stark to obtain them, with the Starks Death, now Hydra through him would be the main weapon sellers of USA, also remember that Obadiah was supporting the terrorist Ten rings creating the world in madness that Hydra needed. Tony was clearly a menace for them, so he would eliminated him, also he was the frist to try to replicate the Ironman armors Someone can say that Justin Hammer could be another one but I think that he was very unstable and has his own agenda so Hydra didnt think on him. Also Hammer was the second, Stark industries the frist one.

Also I want to point some thing insteresting that one TH-camr said ( I dont know if was Allan Tsai): Rigth after the launch of the Jerico, while Tony is drinking, He recieves the call of Obadiah (he Is on his jed because in América Is nigth), he calls Tony about the missiles and how Is going the busnisess. According to that TH-camr Obadiah called Tony because Tony was late to the presentation of the missiles and because of that he was also late to his trip on the militar convoy, where he is going to be captured. So Obadiah needed to know what was doing and where was Tony to confirm and coordinate the attack of the ten rings. So that is the reason of why Obadiah called Tony ay nigth. You ask why Tony was late? Because early in the movie, when Tony arrives to the airport Rodhey tell him that he was waiting for him for More than three hours.
I wouldn't mind if he came back in Armor Wars, controlled by an AI. I really did love the design and overall character of Iron Monger, such wasted potential, but was one of the most influential MCU villains just by being the first.
For sure! I wonder how marvel would have portrayed him had he shown up in a later phase where nanotech and more modular armors were in effect! I hope armor wars explores all of this lol
what i still don't understand is how stane pilots it, like it looks like he isn't big enough to fit in just the chest region, and his shoulders look like they fit into the arms but it doesn't look like the elbows line up to where he shouldn't be able to bend them, same idea with the legs, i want an x-ray image of the monger armor to see how stane sits inside it
Yeah that’s always bugged me too lol I rationalized it as the iron monger being more of a mech rather than an actual suit! When the armor opens up we kind of see that, as obidiah is clearly not proportioned to the suits limbs like you were saying! I think there are pulleys stationed in the elbows to help him control the hands and pedals at the knees to help move the legs! But yeah an x-ray would be very helpful 😅
I think that iron monger was such a joke. They tried to make it seem like it was as good or better than the stark armour when in reality it was mainly defeating iron man because he had a low battery. Also as someone else mentioned it would’ve been impractical due to the “suit” not matching the size of stand (limbs would not have lined up with body proportions). And it definitely would not be as fast as iron man as I doubt he’d be able to go supersonic with the amount of weight on it.
Honestly! Im genuinely curious to see how far he would have gotten had obidiah won and killed tony! That suit probably wouldn’t do very well if the military went after him
@@obscuremcu Yea, and RIP to the poor (but kinda dumb) owner of the motorcycle. He will be remembered, but I'm glad he's gone. Bro really saw two robots fighting in the streets and goes like "Just another normal day" 😂😂😂
Hahaha hahaha this armor Is so clunky and ugly compared with all the Tony armors. Hahaha hahaha even the robust one seeing in Ironman 3 have More personality, (I dont even mention the hulkbuster ones who aré awesome). This proves how smart and cool is Tony. We miss you man, we miss you.😢
