Yeah the track spoiler is excessive looking even if it is functional. I do prefer the track one's wheels though.
Singer continues to push the line, wow mix between 934 and 935s , should do an IROC!!!
I love the full 935 kit with the big wing. Those are some of my all time fave cars from back in the day and this recreation does a great job of almost giving you it in full.
Wish I had the coin as I would have Singer make the track version. for me in all black exposed carbon with the Interscope Racing livery and one in white with the Martini livery.
I have always loved the cars that singer produced.I am really impressed with the new cars.
Again Lee, really enjoy your content, it is truly some of the best on TH-cam. Your strength lies in your access to important figures in the Porsche world, and your exceptional style in interviewing them. Perhaps you are even better than Harry Metcalfe and Henry Catchpole in that regard, and I think we all agree they are tremendous in this field. With that in mind, I would love to see you do a full interview with Rob Dickinson of Singer. I had the pleasure to meet and chat with him a few years back, before I had my channel. He is not only a very significant figure for all Porsche fans, but also a truly wonderful, kind and interesting man. A Lee Sibley interview with Rob would be outstanding. 0:48 Exactly my 964 - colour, wheels etc., only mine was a C4. Low kms, original, not a scratch and never any body work. Sold it in '08 as I was not driving it much, being away too much on business. Damn, how I miss that beautiful car (and it's current value)! I have mixed feelings about these mods tbh. Awesome in some ways, a bit sad in others. Cheers - David

it looks epic!! im so happy they went for 934 looks. i dont think it would be right with a flachbau like 935. 911's need the arches and round lights. Rob and his crew are so far beyond anyone else.. they are making what we thought was the craziest 911 ever the dls , now turbo. gunther, theon and everyone else is just thinking of making a regular turbo. thesee are definately the best you can get beside the only true tuner. Ruf is a different level. they are Gods in my eyes so this will be the best you can get if you cant buy a Ruf. plus he's freakin' Bruce's brother, that alone makes Rob almost royalty then that he builds these otherworldly cars. i wonder if he will give one to him brother some day. i cant picture it.... a Maiden album cover with an EDDIE behind the wheel of a dls. i get that tattood on me, right next to the Ace's High tattoo i already have. IRON MAIDEN LIVES AGAIN!!!!

This car is insane..I am lucky enough to drive a 72 911..I think it was a 72..it had a boxer 6 with 6 throat Weber downdraft carburators on it..Wow this thing was fast..Pearl white with the whale tail spoiler..This is the only car you could install an airplane wing on the rear and it would still look good..VW knows how to build an engine that screams..I can see where the new beetle got it's inspiration from..I know a beetle isn't a supercar.. But I do own a 2001 glx 1.8 turbo..5spd..with a little itty-bitty KO3S turbo..20 valve engine..This lil thing will surprise you..I'm building a new engine for it..I got to see how far this itty-bitty 1.8 can go..of course a gigantic monster turbo.. ecm..cams . injectors..intake .. intercooler..downpipe and exhaust..forged internals...ported and polished head..feul pump .fmu .I'm looking for around 750 h.p.
I've seen it done with over 900 h.p.
But it did take some work..

I am sure it’s an engineering tour de force but it just looks ridiculous. Looks like someone at Singer has been moonlighting … clearing the bins at the art directors office of the Transformers movie.

Man this doesn’t make sense. I absolutely love the idea of reimagining these classic track cars but to me the elements of both cars don’t combine well.the proportions don’t work. Maybe a slant nose would make more sense.

Where's all the detailing?... The Seats look boring by comparison to their typical DLS.
I really loved the use of 'grommets' (Eyelets?) throughout their seats in previous interior masterpieces.
In previous cars, it didn't matter where you looked... Everything was a masterpiece!
The dials, the shifter, the seats, the dash... Everything was literally 'eye candy' of the highest degree!
I mean this respectfully, but in the previous DLS variants, you looked at the Interiors and you definitely felt that indeed "Everything is Important".
Whereas I look at the Interior of this model, and think... Oh ok, 'Only the wing and rear arches were important'??
Credit where it's due though... Those wheels are stunning!
Sure, I bet it's fast AF, and any car that can offer you 'optional extra' of a different bumper (valance) and optional Wing/Ducktail to switch in their own bespoke hard 'flight cases' is pretty EPIC!
If it was parked in the carpark, I'd probably be mesmerised... (Although the interior lacks their typical design/craftmanship in my opinion).
Ultimately, would I prefer the previous DLS over this... 100% Absolutely, without any hesitation!
I'll never afford either, so my opinions aren't work sh*t! haha
But as a loyal fan of the Brand and of Porsche cars of all types, that's just how the car makes me feel.

the front fascia is aggressive and good. the rear is horrible and I can't believe anyone could appreciate the extended tire bodywork and how it appears to be appended on a old Porsche rear bumper. horrible horrible horrible

From the front and sides, the car is very cool looking. However the back end is the ugliest thing I have ever seen. Gotta find a way to clean it up. It looks like a 964 ran into a kit car and got stuck.
