Hi Nelson! Thanks for the post. One quick question: just bought the convertor. When attaching a Canon 28mm f2.8 IS EF lens no activity of the led that is supposed to emit e green / orange was seen however the lens is focusing using central spot. Thanks!
Recently after a firmware update the VC on my Tamron 90mm SP macro stopped working. Is it possible to go back a few versions? Waiting for another update to fix it, a bit annoying, gotta say.
Hello, as a Canon shooter with lots of EF L lenses, I’m in the proces of buying the Sony a7iii for making video content. Still i see mixed results for video with the combo MC-11 and EF lenses (specialy the AF). Do you notice any improvement after this update? Thx!
Yeah, based on my experience, the MC-11 just isn't that great in terms of video auto focus. My 50mm f/1.8 STM won't autofocus at all in video mode on my A7R iii.
I picked up a cheap a6000 with mc11 adaptor - so I thought it was a great opportunity to test out the Sony platform (as I’ve always shot canon and L series glass)... was so disappointed. Almost all my L lenses hunt back and forward. I had read such great things about the Sony autofocus system - really smart from what I saw. There is a TechArt Pro device, that converts any Leica manual M mount to autofocus using their converter. I wonder if you use multiple adaptors, if you can adapt canon to LeicaM.

Yes, there are instructions online on how to downgrade. Do a TH-cam/Google search

I think it depends on exactly which lenses you are using. Some notice an improvement, others don't.

It’d be best to get native lenses for video. But manual always works!!!
