I created also Waste segregation with monitoring, with only 1 arduino, stepper motor, ultrasonic sensor,capacitive and inductive.
and in my monitoring I used 3 ultrasonic sensor each bins, and a esp8266 to send the Data.

Bo motor two wire connect to 8 pin relay or Other are battery wire so motor rotate forward or reverse.
