- Her boat is the coolest thing I saw. Sampriti Bhattacharyya is an incredible success story of 13 years of hard work. I hope you enjoy this special video.
Thank you to the entire Navier Team for helping me make this video and being so gracious. You guys rock!
Thank you for watching Nas Daily!

0:48 as a Indian I can't tolerate wrong map used by your editor. Jammu and Kashmir is our part and you can't show it as a separate.
Yes
Excuse me Jammu my and Kashmir was CAPTURED by you which is why they absolutely can show it as separate
@@ammartariq1139 plebiscites in Ohio:

@@ammartariq1139People like don't even have a brain, Before saying this you should know that Kashmir is a landlocked state and if Kashmir becomes free, how will you export and import?😂
And you know why you are here and able to say this?
Because you have access to the internet and other facilities like food which kashmir import from India.
Ghar mai sab kuch thik chal raha hai , do wakt ki roti mil rahi hai isliye ye charbi chadi hai tum log ko, warna tumhara aukad kaha itna hai.

This story really proves that it does not matter if you had good grades in the past as long as you work hard and put your mind to it you will succeed
Edit: wow this comment got a lot of likes
Absolutely! Our school grades do not define us, it's actually hard work that does
Sometimes it's the teacher or the way things are taught to a room of children / teenagers not the individual. Then they find there own way of learning or a good teacher comes along that sees there are many ways to teach, one way doesn't fit everyone.
But she did go on to get her education her masters and a PhD . So it actually does matter what education you have. She worked dam hard for it.
There's a lot of professions out there that yes certain people can do without any grades but the position requires a certain standard of grades and education. Even in supermarkets they look for your last exam and grades you do before college .
@@elainemcgran8828 that’s definitely true but what I ment was don’t let your past mistakes ruin your future, like for example if you struggled in school that doesn’t mean you stop trying and you can still get more of an education but thanks for telling me this I appreciate it (all opinions are important)
Flying boat ⛵ 🤦
There is so much omitted here, you don't just get an internship at Fermilab as a research assistant without having good credentials. It's the freaking Fermilab. She did BTech in electrical engineering from West Bengal Technical University, the university isn't that famous but most of the gems in STEM come out of her state Bengal in India, she must have been doing good in her academics or must have acquired some useful skills and her SOP must be really good for her to get a summer internship in Fermilab during her BTech.
People from across the world try to get into Fermilab but only a handful do. Those who do are no joke. The proof is that she went on to get a PhD from MIT, average folk don't get that. She is a genius. So, stop making clickbait content Nas and make it sound like it's a piece of cake if you put your mind to it.
Appreciate it.
She went to st thomas college kolkata , it is under west bengal university and thats a good college many students from that college arr in different countries doing well
that's what I was thinking about
This type of channels really don't care about showing people reality. It's all about hype.
Probably she has some team behind working on technology

As an Indian I feel ashamed of myself missed talent like her here 🤷
it's not just talent, and we all have to start somewhere right? At the end of the day, hard work still wins the race
@@NasDailyfacts
@@NasDailyBrain drain she is basically talking about......
I think it’s all a matter where the opportunity arises. If you can do it in your home country, then do it. But if not then you may have to go to another country where you may get a better shot. It’s all about what you can and want to do at the end of the day.
Also countries can do a lot more to make themselves a more attractive place for entrepreneurs. Just because India missed out on her, doesn’t mean it won’t miss out on someone else. There was another Indian back in the early 2010s who couldn’t get their US visa approved to work for Microsoft so they ended up going back to India and created their own successful tech startup company. The outcome for India in this situation was the exact opposite of the outcome for India in the video.
India won’t have to worry about Brain Drain as long as it can create a great environment for entrepreneurs.
even if she is in india now also , can you give her that same or similar opportunity that she got there ?
Her case is so relatable and inspiring to me... In my case I love science, I love physics but when I get low marks for not being able to solve numericals... It makes me feel demotivated.... Seeing her case inspires me so much........
Loving physics and being bad at it is two different things so don't get demotivated, i am currently studying the mathematics of Quantum mechanics and let me tell you it is just beautiful like a thought of god
00:48 Nas, Please hire editors who aren't dumb...WRONG MAP!
This is so inspiring, she came out of the bubble created by the Indian education system and went on to find a purpose and pursue. Many of us are in a rut like she was in and hell yeah this pushes me to put in my efforts on something I genuinely want. Good content, Nas. Keep them coming.

This one of the Reason why I love this channel... Sampriti is One of those people in the World who have showed that Given a Chance they can Create Thinks & Things which others Say is Impossible...
I watched her interview on linguamarina channel on youtube few moths back and her story is just incredible hatsoff to her courage and hardwork .

Great achievement 👍
Very inspiring for the younger generation.
However, very angry 😡 to see that a whole region of India (Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh area) is omitted from India map. Why?
This is not at all acceptable.
As a citizen of India, I strongly oppose it. Pls correct the same.
They just showed the main part she came from so dont be mad its just a form of editing
Their map is based on line of control. Half of what India claims are in the control of Pak and China. India should have reclaimed it after winning the 1971 war.

Just to remind you guys, she did end up going to a prestigious school, so education did matter.
Honestly, this story is so incredible that brought sadness to me. Unfortunately, our parents always think that school makes you successful but it is really not. There are things out there that it teaches you things way better than school does.
Truly It's sad to see that many parents don't see the hidden talents in their Kids even if they are not too good in school
@@Eazihustler our value and worth is all judged by school grades, how unfortunate.
While that is true, she did study in one of the topmost schools in the country,South Point, which besides being one of the most recognized schools in Asia, is also the Alma mater of the most recent Nobel Laureate ,Abhijit Vinayak Banerjee.
But Still, many people study there and not everyone makes it to the highest echelons.Kudos to her.
Hope to see her achieving new heights in the future.
Coming from a fellow alumnus of South Point.

"The world is built by people no more smarter than you and I, so why not go for something audacious, something you are passionate about and just built it" That might be the BEST quote I have come across today 👍🏻
Steve Jobs said that too. People around us who built and invented something are just "normal" people with a passion and a drive to make society a better place.

Love this video! I do take exception to the statement, "She didn't go to a good school," because I think community colleges can almost literally save lives and offer accessible education and affirming services (health, mental health, career, etc.) to anyone who needs it (obviously). This story belies the narrative that community college is just "settling" or worse than settling. Check your bias.
A true inspirational story, thanks for sharing bro! ❤

We all missed opportunities in life, but her high school teacher was a blessing in disguise for her. She believed in herself and never gave up, and probably had so many bright ideas in her mind. Most of us get a “no” for an answer, we say, maybe this isn’t for me, but she proved to herself after all of those “no’s” that consistency, perseverance and hard work really pays off, no matter what grade you may have gotten in that one class. I love inspirational people like her. Amazing!
