Caroline - my husband the other day said he wished there was a sunscreen he could spray on the top of his thinning hair that was a hair styling product plus SPF. What a brilliant idea! He also said to add Rogaine to it, which would make it such a power product for men (and women?) with thinning hair.
I bought two boxes of Altrient C this winter and so far it's warded off any and all lurgies that have been decimating those around me......great recommendation, thanks! I heard about it through you!
Amazing and comprehensive (and fun) review Caroline. Thank you. I’m just back from Majorca and took Ultrasun SPF50+ extreme (amazing - have you tried that range?) and Evy Technology SPF 30 for Face (the one you have in your video). My partner and I loved them. I favoured the EVY foam because my partner is half Indian and has course thick body hair which is hard to adhere ‘typical’ spfs to as they all get stuck in his body hair (beard, chest, arms, legs, back etc). Before he met me (god love him) he only used those cheaper oils as they didn’t stick to the hair but we used EVY foam and he loved it. Great for guys with ethnicity or stubborn hairy areas. I’m a red headed guy from Belfast and always stay true to a minimum of 30, but mostly use spf50. Loved this video! Thank you 😊 ✔️
First off, you are SUPER generous for letting Ava use your Le Mer anything. My mother would've told me to go buy my own probably (if she had lux products to abscond with) lol Second of all, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be careful with the sunscreen sprays. My husband and attempted to use it on a windy day out on the beach and needless to say it was very hit or miss literally. We had some odd sunburn patches, so i would recommend maybe getting out of the wind (say a changing room) and spray it then.
Clarins is wonderful but a few years back I ran into Hampton Sun and was hooked. For my kids I use La Roche - Anthelios Cooling Water Sunscreen Lotion SPF 60. We use Hampton Sun for the face, they also have a great after sun-care.
Never a bad time for a sunscreen video (my all time favourite subject)! Thank you so much! Loved how you talked about the Italian sun. Imagine living under a sun like that every day - although not at the beach 24x7, obvs. But sunscreen recommendations are very welcome all year round. Heliocare is a great brand. I also recommend ISDIN fusion fluid (if you don't mind nanonized particles).
Soleil Toujours Face SPF 30 has been my new favorite! I just placed my order for the Lypo-Spheric Vitamin C because I often have this 'some is coming' and get sick during traveling. Thank you so much for sharing your fruits of wisdom Caroline!!
I think La Roche - Posay are hard to beat , Anthelios XL non perfumed , ultra light 50+ is very good even under makeup, have tried so many and always come back to it !!

Brilliant video thank you, and just in time for Southern Hemisphere spring/summer. We now have the sun bum here in one of our department stores and most surf shops. I discovered it when shopping for a recent holiday - agree it’s fantastic. My go to face sunscreen is the Mecca Cosmetica To save face SPF 50+ - it goes like a dream under makeup.
Hi Caroline, how do you rate Dermalogica SPF products? I’m using the sensitive shield mineral spf 50. I like it but not sure how effective it is. Doesn’t seem to be mentioned in sun care reviews. If you don’t think much of it, can you recommend an alternative mineral product? Thank you!
I totally relate about the Drunk Elephant umbra tinte. It somehow doesn't translate well on my face either, it just sits on top of it the whole day, i can feel it weighing down the skin. I'm loving that Soleil Broad Spectrum SPF from the SpaceNK box, I live in Colorado where the sun will fry you given the chance and the Soleil is now my go-to for daily wear at work! Definitely a winner!
Caroline - have you ever used ‘DermaQuest?’ It’s a fantastic range. Spf’s are awesome, zinc based and 30-50. It would be great if you could try these products & give us your thoughts. They are mainly sold in clinics and not available over counter, manufactured in California. I’ve used range since 2012, and don’t use ANYthing else. I was expecting more recommendatios on facial bullet proof spf’s (minerals, chemicals & hybrids) , maybe another coming up? 🤷🏼♀️ That’s the thing with expectations right?🤔
Heliocare is my absolute favourite. Nothing matches up to it for me! I do also like and use the Coola for face but mainly because I get suckered in by the bright line up in Space NK every summer 😂🙄
i love la roche-posay !! i usually travel exclusively with their skincare because it seems to be best at soothing and rebalancing skin undergoing extreme climate changes. i tend not to use my usual skincare when away, and extend the use of a very limited range of LRP products for about a week after i return, just to get my skin back on track and recognise it’s home. since last year i’ve used the huile nutritive confort spf 50 on holiday, and i’ve been using their posthelios after-sun for years. love them both ! the oil is lovely because it helps in preventing the skin from drying out and the smell is great too. sometimes i like their spray or milk meant for babies because that ensures high protection but also, products meant for young children tend to be sand-resistent too, which is always a good thing. some 20 years ago i used the sun range from shiseido - i have a soft spot for shiseido even though i don’t use their products anymore, because their skincare worked wonders on my teenage acne back in the day. i remember i had a burn once on my shoulders, and packed their after-sun face cream on - it recovered in less than 24 hours. amazing, and it also had a great scent. otherwise, i also love lancaster (tan maximiser !!!) but it’s no longer available here in singapore, and even though LRP is also not present in its entire range here, it’s way more accessible as a pharma brand and hence easier to request from friends - female AND male - who travel.
My #1 this summer was Clarins’ Ecran Multi-Protection. It’s AMAZING. Didn’t break me out once, was great under makeup, i also took it with me on holiday and never even got a pink nose. Brilliant.
Só happy with that, thx Caroline! Good tips for next year. Also a fav: Coola! Mineral product and it also has a spray, which - in order to top up, and just for short lunch breaks for instance - you can spray óver your make up! 😘
@@thecatlady2710 I wear sunscreen all year round, but in Holland where it's fall now, the is hardly any UV A or B. But when there is, I'll wear it. As a skin cancer patient I'm very aware what I have to do, thank you.
Caroline, last year I've discovered a Greek product, Frezyderm Velvet Technology SPF50, it has good (chemical) filters (like Tinosorb), no alcohol/perfume, and has the texture of a silicone primer - no oiliness, no white cast, nothing. That's all I have used last year and this year on my face, and it worked great in the Italian and Greek heat. I have extremely sensitive and dehydrated skin which is also prone to melasma, and I really like it and would recommend it to anyone looking for an effective, non-greasy/no white cast SPF - it can be bought online on their website or Amazon, I think it's about 20 euros or so. They also have a body SPF with the same texture, I think that one is scented.
Always appreciate a blunt Caroline video! Can I ask a slightly (perhaps dumb) skincare question? I'm always religious about applying my broad protection sunscreen from a Korean brand (hybrid as I don't like the white cast of others (or the hefty price of non-white cast mineral ones)) which is SPF50. But as bad as this sounds, I care more about UVA protection and keeping my skin from aging, vs UVB and not burning my skin. Are there UVA-only sunscreens out there if I don't want sun aging but want a tan (i.e. still want some UVB - although maybe I'm misunderstanding how the sun works?)
Caroline-what would be really good would be a follow up video for daily facial sunscreen use throughout the year focusing on ones that are broad spectrum and maybe work against pollution too but more importantly work under makeup -i.e. not holiday sunscreens where the chances are you’re not putting make up over them. Thanks !
This summer I used cetaphil moisturiser with spf 50. I picked it up on sale from superdrug. I like moisturiser with spf because it sinks in and doesn't run into my eyes.
Oooh, I love Sun Bum - especially the banana scented products. Their products also readily available in Australia in surf shops and in Target stores. Glad to see you mentioning Australia too as with our climate, spf/skin care is especially important for us. Question: Caroline, have you used Caudalie Anti-Aging Face Suncare Spf50 Face Suncare. I live in Italy, and I used it all summer because it came free when I bought a serum. Thanks x
quadbox I live in Sydney, and I think that Australia has some of the WORST sunscreens to wear under makeup. Yes we have some amazing sunscreen to protect us for outdoor/beach days but they are so greasy and heavy. Any recommendations for ones we can easily purchase in oz would be greatly appreciated. I like to test my sunscreen, and am hesitant to buy online. I purchased a few in Chinatown. Very cosmetically elegant under makeup but too much alcohol. Still searching for my perfect mineral sunscreen.....
I'm from Melbs, but yes, we have some crappy sunscreens. But you can still buy some good ones. Sun Bum is readily available, but it is strongly scented. For your face, Mecca has a really nice one. Also Medik8 is really good. There is also a really good Australian brand that my dermatologist recommended to me called Propaira. I love their Niacinimide products, but I haven't tried their sunscreen.
Seconding the recommendation above: Mecca 'To Save Face SPF50+' is amazing. I also really like Skinstitut Age Defense 50+. Best place to pick it up is Adore Beauty but Australian Skin Clinics stock it so you might be able to grab a sample from them.
Couldn't agree more!!!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🙌🏾 I just bought one tube of Biore Watery Essence UV Gel about 2 weeks ago and I am hooked so I ordered 4 more tubes. Fantastic for my dark skin. 😊
Laura Conley but Japanese ones are usually super alcohol heavy and my skin can’t stand. It’s very irritating😕 So I always have to purchase imported ones from Europe/America. I wish I liked Japanese ones as they are obviously easiest to reach for in Japan. I’m with Caroline, I love Heliocare most.
kookoo trix alcohol definitely irritates some peoples skin, especially when it's really high up the ingredient list like in a lot of sunscreens, but thankfully there are some really good alcohol free ones too : )
I know this is aimed more as a beauty review, but as a nurse involved with aftercare education for recovering melanoma patients, the star rating - or at least taking time to find out how much uva protection a sun lotion gives does need to be considered, especially if you're choosing it for important health reasons. A patient mentioned this video in our clinic yesterday so I wanted to add my tuppence worth. Just having a uva logo isn't enough these days, only that the uva resistance meets the minimum legal levels of about 30 percent. Five stars means its been tested to have at least 90 percent. Hope this helps.
I get so excited when I see your video. I do not even care what is it about, can be about car parts and I'd still enjoy it. Your voice, presentation is soo relaxing for me..sounds wrong 😂 Bottom line I love your videos:)
I have been trying to be better about wearing SPF. I just do not understand how to reapply when you are hot and sweaty. We were in the Philippines this summer and reapplying SPF on sweaty oily skin is nasty. How do we get around this???
I don't know whether it's considered good by everyone else, but i love the Hawaiian Tropic After Sun Body Butter in the green pot, so much so i even use it as a body moisturiser these days. It's a real bargain too at like £6 in the supermarket, and it has a faint whiff of coconut.
Will continue with the Lypo-spheric vitamin c which I learnt about from a previous post and might try the La Mer...other than that will stick with my Australian spfs...Aussies do good sun care...we need to....look forward to your posts...this was great.. thanks xx
Most American sunscreens wouldn’t get the EU UVA circle because they are SPF biased. The only chemical UVA absorbing filter allowed is avobenzone , which isn’t stable in sunlight, vs 4 extra UVA filters for the rest of the world
Could you please recommend a few options for the best SPFs for babies that I can get in EU? My girl is only 7 months and I’ve kept her away from sun so far but we’re going on holidays soon so she might catch some sun inevitably.. thanks a lot ☀️
How much of the heliocare 360 did you use per application? I purchased it and while I like the claims, I cannot get it to work for the life of me. If I apply very light layer it is very nice, but folowing the "1/4 of teaspoon for the face alone" rule, it looks terrible!!! Does not dry down, balls up and flakes off my face ... What do I do?😭, it was kind of expensive I dont want to throw it away. Thank you
I tried the Soleil Toujours SPF as it came in the Space NK box. However for those with very fair skins (i.e me) it makes you look like you have a tanned face on top of a pasty white bod. Not a great look. I have been using Helio gel . Thank you so much for explaining the star rating. That's very interesting.
I agree with your comment on Soleil Toujours. On me it didn't even look tan, it looked straight up orange (like a fruit). After a vacation when my face got a little tiny bit of tan, I could mix Soleil Toujours with my usual tinted moisturizer to color correct (as it was too light with my tan) and it worked great for that.
@@Stellina that's great that you were eventually able to use it. Sadly it was a wasted product for me as I don't tan just burn in the sun so I couldn't mix it with anything. I don't understand why they would have included a tinted SPF in the box as many people could not use it. I was so looking forward to trying it as I was on the hunt for a decent sunscreen and yet was left so disappointed.
Maria Duarte I agree with you. I guess they figured we the white ones are such an overwhelming minority that it didn't matter if a few of us couldn't use the sunscreen. But you are absolutely correct - for something like this curated box, they should have chosen a colorless SPF. I'm guessing they wanted it to be a mineral one (more "natural") and those kinda have to be tinted at least a little bit in order to not leave a white cast on majority of people. I am sorry you couldn't find any use for the product? Maybe give it to a friend or family member? Or you could use it on your legs so they look more tan when you wear a skirt or shorts ;)
I use Sum Bum SPF15-50, Cool Down, SPF Face sunscreen, everything such a great line. A little pricey but so worth it, if people are looking for a natural line, and some of the products are vegan.
I love that Cool Down, it's the spray on right? It smells so good. I got a bottle on holiday to bring back with me because I liked the spay oil so much.
Became a Helio Care convert after visiting Teresa's clinic last year. 100% agree - it is brilliant and the smell is lush. Added bonus, Dry Touch formula was perfect for the crazy warm summer we had in Europe.
Can you use it under foundation? I find that a lot of products that are advertised as "dry touch" have a lot of silicones in them and that is a no go for me because it messes up everything I put on top (I mean makeup), so I can only use it on no makeup days. However, having a special SPF just for those few days is an extra hassle and expense that I do not need in my life.)
That spf burned my face, burned! I don't have sensitive skin at all, so i was surprised when that happened. I reckon it was the smell which, to me, was too overpowering 😰
Hi Caroline, Can you recommend a daily spf for really sensitive skin. I can't use anything with fragrance. I used to have Olay fragrance free but they changed the formula :-(. The non spf one is still fine. I live in Belgium so about the same weather as England I guess :-). Thank you :-):-)
We need spf all year long over here. Have you tried Hydropeptide Solar Defense to use on the face under makeup? I love that stuff (its pricey but worth every penny)
Caroline what is your opinion on powder spfs from some green beauty ranges... are they good enough for daily indoor use... examples moss m earthwise beauty... have you tried these...
You’re the best! Could you recommend a comfortable, moisturizing (or at least non drying) daily SPF for an expecting mother with safe ingredients? I read chemical SPFs were a no go and I hate the metallic smell I sometimes sense throughout the day with some mineral SPFs. Suggestions please 😙💕
Sun Bum is available on Amazon in the UK , direct from the Sun Bum store (which I assume is ok??) I bought the Face 50 as it had NO coconut, I'm allergic and really struggle finding SPF without it. Great under makeup but, my word, it stings like a bitch if you get it near your eyes.
I bought the heliocare mineral spf on the suggestion of my dermathologist and it literally burned the crap out of my face and mind you, my skin isn't sensitive at all. I've never had a reaction like that, not even to an acid. I reckon it was the fragrance, which is to be precise a slightly nauseating smell of fake apricot 😧
Hi Caroline, thanks for the video. When using spray sunscreens, I have trouble removing them. They seem to form a film that doesn’t come off with shower gel or a scrub, and a week after my holiday they start to peel off like dry skin. Yuck. Any tips on removal? This is body not face. Thanks!
I don't know if you can get this in the UK, but Coola is safe for sea life and on the natural side. Kind of pricey, but really nice and comes in different scents.
So as long as the UVA words are circled, that's fine? Started to wear uva protection every day now and whilst I am happy I am caring for my skin, it's a nightmare to find one to wear under makeup. My Vichy one balls up like crazy in combination with my serums (buffet & niacinamide) and pore blurring primer. When I swap my Vichy against Formula 10.06 guava SPF, the 'shedding' but boots don't sell formula anymore :'( xx Please do a follow up on physical vs chemical sunscreen and this circle around the UVA lettering xx
I adore you and watch your vid religiously. I want to know your thought about the Biologique serums. I never hear u talk about them but you do say put the majority of your $$ into serums. What do you think about them? Particularly Elastin pure and VG tensil?
Caroline Hirons hahaha yea the smell is funky and I myself started wondering why they were so expensive. So any serum recommendations for dry skin loaded with amino acids for prevention of wrinkles? Thank you for your input
Hi Caroline thank you for the lovely video😍😘 I have two questions for you, how do you reapply spf over makeup? I don't wear makeup but I would love to know how you do it. My 2nd question is what do you think of products with spf 15-20-25? Are they enough day to day? You mentioned 2 in The Body shop video so I was interested. Thanks again for all your lovely videos, very "lush" as you would say😘😘😘😘😘I enjoy them so much I save them to watch when my daughter is asleep😂💓
Thankyou Thankyou for educating us on these sprays and creams and what to look for I really respect yr intellegents I truly injoy every single video of yrs Thankyou xxx
Are you using spf on your face every day of the year? I get easily irritated around nose and mouth from spf and I live in Norway so in a few weeks it will probably be dark when I'm done at work.. Do I skip spf this time of year and try to calm my face ?
In the seventies we used baby oil with iodine. Complete madness! Decades later after having many little bits of cancer cut off here and there, face, shoulders, legs.....I now use 50 SPF with zinc and titanium dioxide. Wish some of the brands you reviewed had them but most of them don't.
I like to use EVY the face spf on the arms in the summer if I am going to spend time outside and do shopping (with trying on lots of clothes) as it is non sticky on me. It is the only "body" spf i use during summer shopping. I don´t like it on my face. It was to weird for that. There is better options for the face. And it is not mainly marketed for kids, its mostly marketed for sporty people like golfers and people who like to sail. Hence the golf ball size.
Thanks for all of the recommendations! If you can get your hands on it, the Coola radical recovery after-sun lotion is really unique and fantastically soothing!
Thank you! Could you, please please please, share the make-up you used (specially the foundation). It looks amazing. I know Its your Skin that looks Great but i am curios about the foundation that makes your Skin glow
Hi Caroline, Sorry to comment on an old video but you mentioned you used the sun bum on top of other sunscreens? Is it ok to mix sunscreens? What if some filters aren’t compatible? Sunscreen videos are my absolute favourite!!
Thanks so much for this! My little boy comes out in spots on his face when I apply SPF. I hate seeing his beautiful skin break out! Is there a good brand that you could recommend for delicate skin?
I swim outdoor daily in chlorine in Florida! Thank you, gonna look at sunbum bc I’m using coppertone face for now. I breakout very easily . Am I better off w mineral or chemical for acne prone ?
What if you have congestion problems with most SPF's? I have $pent so much trying to find one that won't clog my pores and haven't found one yet. Must say, they have all been mineral, so thinking that might be a bit of the problem. Any suggestions?
Any recommendations for sunscreen for someone who has reactive skin when it comes to most sunscreens? I've been forgoing it (really horrible) because most sunscreen causes a burning sensation on my cheeks and the horrible breakouts.
What a timing, I was just looking for a new SPF, CB doesn't stock Thank You Farmer anymore... Is the heliocare good as a city SPF? Thinking about getting that one
Does anyone know if Korean sunscreens are ok? I got dr jart and misha and they are so pleasant to wear, but - does that mean they're not doing anything though?

i love la roche-posay !! i usually travel exclusively with their skincare because it seems to be best at soothing and rebalancing skin undergoing extreme climate changes. i tend not to use my usual skincare when away, and extend the use of a very limited range of LRP products for about a week after i return, just to get my skin back on track and recognise it’s home. since last year i’ve used the huile nutritive confort spf 50 on holiday, and i’ve been using their posthelios after-sun for years. love them both ! the oil is lovely because it helps in preventing the skin from drying out and the smell is great too. sometimes i like their spray or milk meant for babies because that ensures high protection but also, products meant for young children tend to be sand-resistent too, which is always a good thing. some 20 years ago i used the sun range from shiseido - i have a soft spot for shiseido even though i don’t use their products anymore, because their skincare worked wonders on my teenage acne back in the day. i remember i had a burn once on my shoulders, and packed their after-sun face cream on - it recovered in less than 24 hours. amazing, and it also had a great scent. otherwise, i also love lancaster (tan maximiser !!!) but it’s no longer available here in singapore, and even though LRP is also not present in its entire range here, it’s way more accessible as a pharma brand and hence easier to request from friends - female AND male - who travel.
For next year? You should wear sunscreen 365 days a year. If it is daylight then you need sunscreen. :)
@@thecatlady2710 I wear sunscreen all year round, but in Holland where it's fall now, the is hardly any UV A or B. But when there is, I'll wear it. As a skin cancer patient I'm very aware what I have to do, thank you.
Lydia Carels yeah there’s still UV of different wave lengths coming down on you in Holland. In fall and winter days as well 🙄.
@@christineo7930 thx, I know!
I wanted to love that DE sunscreen but it layers terribly! I can’t reapply it without it looking thick, so I’ve slipped on using it.
The Heliocare Oil-Free is my number 1 as well! Love, love, love it!!! On my third tube now :)
I bought that after Nigella Lawson recommended it on instagram and it's amazing
Ashwin Sharma no stick with broad spectrum!
Thanks x
quadbox
I live in Sydney, and I think that Australia has some of the WORST sunscreens to wear under makeup.
Thank you! I use lots of Laroche Posay products. Next time I'm home, I look out for the Hamilton face one. xx
Seconding the recommendation above: Mecca 'To Save Face SPF50+' is amazing. I also really like Skinstitut Age Defense 50+. Best place to pick it up is Adore Beauty but Australian Skin Clinics stock it so you might be able to grab a sample from them.
Agree on the Mecca sunscreen! I use it every day and even have my mum hooked on using it!
Have you tried Asian sunscreens?? They are sssooooooo much better than western sunscreens. Much lighter and more pleasant to use.
They are the best and the alcohol content doesn't irritate at all. Love that nearly all the Japanese ones are fragrance free.
I found them hard to read if they are broad spectrum. The Biore one is great texture but is only uva. As far as I could research. I could be wrong.
kookoo trix alcohol definitely irritates some peoples skin, especially when it's really high up the ingredient list like in a lot of sunscreens, but thankfully there are some really good alcohol free ones too : )
Another fantastically informative video, Thankyou Carloline!!! :) definitely going to be trying the Lancaster sport on my next holiday!!!
Caroline-Have you ever reviewed the Soap & Glory Sunshield Superfluid SPF50?..would love to know your opinions on it if not!😊x
Good to know! Rodial don’t have any uv specified on their bottle yet it’s £65!!! Will know what to look out for in future
Will continue with the Lypo-spheric vitamin c which I learnt about from a previous post and might try the La Mer...other than that will stick with my Australian spfs...Aussies do good sun care...we need to....look forward to your posts...this was great.. thanks xx
I love my vichy soleil because it is the only thing I don't hate underneath foundation.
I use Institut Esthederm, but often wonder whether or not it's what I should be using.
Thank you
I just love the Heliocare Fernblock Gel the most. It does wonders to my skin as well as protection.
The Dermalogica SPF eye cream is amazing, and not at all drying. It's my holy Grail!
I'm not even allowed to use normal SPF, much less go out into the sun at the moment... But I just love watching/hearing you talk! ♥️♥️♥️
Great video Caroline, any spf recommendations for very sensitive skin. Prickly heat tries its best to ruin my holiday to Florida every year.
Hi Caroline, I'd love to know what you think of lidls Cien spray sunscreen. I loved it over the summer. I'm so curious to your opinion!
Why would chemical spfs be a no-no? Use the one you can tolerate the smell of!
Sun Bum is available on Amazon in the UK , direct from the Sun Bum store (which I assume is ok??)
I bought the Face 50 as it had NO coconut, I'm allergic and really struggle finding SPF without it.
I'm in the US by the way. Get some when you visit LA!
I recently bought Sun Bum face for the first time and found it super greasy. Never dried down unfortunately
I adore you and watch your vid religiously. I want to know your thought about the Biologique serums. I never hear u talk about them but you do say put the majority of your $$ into serums. What do you think about them? Particularly Elastin pure and VG tensil?
Melinda Deaton they’re good to all intents and purposes but I find them expensive and the smell is WHOO
Caroline Hirons hahaha yea the smell is funky and I myself started wondering why they were so expensive. So any serum recommendations for dry skin loaded with amino acids for prevention of wrinkles? Thank you for your input
Hi Caroline thank you for the lovely video😍😘
I have two questions for you,
how do you reapply spf over makeup? I don't wear makeup but I would love to know how you do it.
My 2nd question is what do you think of products with spf 15-20-25? Are they enough day to day? You mentioned 2 in The Body shop video so I was interested.
Thanks again for all your lovely videos, very "lush" as you would say😘😘😘😘😘I enjoy them so much I save them to watch when my daughter is asleep😂💓
What was the reason that the Drunk Elephant tinted sunscreen did not work? Thank you
Thankyou Thankyou for educating us on these sprays and creams and what to look for I really respect yr intellegents I truly injoy every single video of yrs Thankyou xxx
Are you using spf on your face every day of the year? I get easily irritated around nose and mouth from spf and I live in Norway so in a few weeks it will probably be dark when I'm done at work.. Do I skip spf this time of year and try to calm my face ?
Fabulous timing coming into summer in Aus!!! 🇦🇺
Bought that Sun Bum in Dubai & was gutted I couldn’t get in back in UK. Wish they sold it here.
I would love to know what foundation and lip color your are wearing in this video. Love your video reviews
Do any of these also offer pollution protection? If, for instance, you're going to be in a very hot, very congested, smoggy city...
Thank you! Could you, please please please, share the make-up you used (specially the foundation). It looks amazing. I know Its your Skin that looks Great but i am curios about the foundation that makes your Skin glow
Have you tried anything from Supergoop?
Is helio care available in America? I’m not finding it anywhere....
Does anyone know if it’s available in Australia?
Just heading into summer here in South Africa so this is awesome! Thanks so much😘
Hi Caroline. Saw you in Newcastle yesterday. Hope you had a good day. Anthelios LRP is good. Cheap and often on offer at Boots.
Hi Caroline,
Sorry to comment on an old video but you mentioned you used the sun bum on top of other sunscreens? Is it ok to mix sunscreens? What if some filters aren’t compatible?
Sunscreen videos are my absolute favourite!!
Daniella don’t mix, you can layer them (give time in between to let the first dry)
I've been liking the no7 protect and perfect intense facial sun protection spf50. Good for oily skin.
I find the star system really useful and think it's a simple tool for people who don't have the time to research different sunscreens.
But it’s not flawless. Read the links in the description box.
Probably chemical x
What if you have congestion problems with most SPF's? I have $pent so much trying to find one that won't clog my pores and haven't found one yet. Must say, they have all been mineral, so thinking that might be a bit of the problem. Any suggestions?
Hey did I miss the review of the Ren mineral spf as I thought I saw it at the start of the video. If not what are your thoughts ?? Xxxx
Plan on stocking up on Sun Bum when I’m in the States soon (available at Ulta!) 😀
Caroline, what is your thoughts on Elta MD SPF?
Yes v good
Caroline, HEV is high energy visible light aka blue light.
Do you know I knew that but I’ve blocked it out after the Yale trip. LOL
@@CarolineHirons lol 😂 of course you did! Was the Yale trip traumatic?
No it was BRILLIANT but they were so adamantly against the whole HEV marketing 'scam' that we were all scarred for life LOL
Oh so it IS a marketing scam? :o Many companies seem to be making it a big thing.
Sounds like a topic for a video ;)
Any recommendations for sunscreen for someone who has reactive skin when it comes to most sunscreens? I've been forgoing it (really horrible) because most sunscreen causes a burning sensation on my cheeks and the horrible breakouts.
sammy carroll it’s quite common to be allergic to spf. I know a few people that just can’t use it x
Thank you! I have the biggest smile on my face and just called my mom to gush that I received a reply from you (we both think you are amazing)! :D
What a timing, I was just looking for a new SPF, CB doesn't stock Thank You Farmer anymore... Is the heliocare good as a city SPF? Thinking about getting that one
You can get Thank You Farmer for Yesstyle, com
Does anyone know if Korean sunscreens are ok? I got dr jart and misha and they are so pleasant to wear, but - does that mean they're not doing anything though?
