He said it as if they said that before James Dean died in one. I'm curious about the timing though. Was it before and therefore a coincidence that his last movie was "Giant" and then he died driving this right after finishing filming or was it actually in bad taste?
@@JosephHowes2003 I guess the car they are reviewing and referring to as the ''giant killer'' is the 55 version......which was the year of his death......just thinking.....even if it is not related to Jimmy......it sure fits in pretty well....which in my mind casts a shadow of slight disrespect.......but I totally understand both sides of this application.... ;]
Good to hear someone talking about there car,not to hear music all the time, Thanks
❤❤awesome cool spyder very nice it should race out it to use for special
Very good content. Fun to watch. Beautiful car!
if James Dean was still alive and still had his spider. . it could go as high to maybe over 10 million +
If I owned an original 550 , I would build walls around it and it would be the center of my living room. Just to stare at. Hahahaha
How’s the appreciation on the replications for 550’s?
I’ve always wanted one...quick question for reference....is that a Fiberglass or aluminum?
Very nice, but some of the things like the steering wheel, windshield, muffler and the head rest were not in the original 1955. Spyder.
550 Spyder never gets old! Instant classic. Shame its a summer/fall motor.
Is the body fiberglass?
Yep.
Ewwww...
This would have been much better with less music, far less talk, and a lot more of the engine noise.
The Porsche 550 Spyder had no windshield wipers.
@Farhang Farasat Wiper blade upgrade.
You need a banjo streering wheel buddie 😃
I think the name ''The Giant Killer'' was in poor taste ,,,, just saying

These were already being called The Giant Killer before James Dean bought his one.
It was in reference to the 550 tearing up the circuit.
