This particular Buick has grown on me as it adds on the years to its age. The owner has done a beautiful job restoring it. 😊

The cars and color schemes tell me this is 1973. In 1972 Dick Shuck's Porsche was white, and the Stinsmans did not yet have the Lola F 5000 car in this film.

If I owned an original 550 , I would build walls around it and it would be the center of my living room. Just to stare at. Hahahaha

I can’t believe there are no comments yet! I grew up in Altoona from 1953-1976. Bi lived in Fairview and as a young boy we always looked forward to hearing the “rattle” of that old antique engine and hearing that unmistakable stem whistle. We lived the gentleman who came around and he reminded me of the old “Pepperidge Farm” man. I loved the popcorn and candy apples we devoured many evenings. I would live to see this beautiful truck one day again. About 20 years ago there was one of these at the Sarasota County Fair in Florida. But it was not in this kind of condition.

The gas class should be a regular event every week instead of these boring classes that are run now.

Very nice, but some of the things like the steering wheel, windshield, muffler and the head rest were not in the original 1955. Spyder.

I rolled ours down the driveway and it took out two smaller pine trees, It was all white with a black top .

So so cool, I saw Paul Goldeintheback ground. I recently purchased his old FED and with a few mods it will certifiy to 7 seconds. Plenty fast for me. My grandson will probably get more out of it. Much fun for all of us involved. Thanks for the great video.

The Porsche 550 Spyder had no windshield wipers.

Apparently the car is more rare than the advertisements are. I see more ads for the nash then the actual car. I have a 1926 and its hard to find info on it.

I like it being in primer great looking car.

With the state of the auto industry today where crossovers, pick ups and suvs are dominating the current market....having one of these traditional classic cars would be most desirable.

I guess Mark lost interest in the car. It sold this week on ebay for 59 grand. Probably went to Sweden. I hope someone in the US bought it, but don't know.

I have the same car... The seat belts are really an enigma for me.. Only the butom part lucks on my car and the top part i can pull hard but it dosent lock ...is this normal... Do they only lock in case of an accident

Hi Mark, I have one in Houston, and know of a handful more in the US. About 180000 were built, and there is an amazing club, MorrisRegister.co.uk. They are very active online and have experts who will tell you any and every fact in minutes of posting. They also have an inventory of parts, and a list of suppliers and rebuilders for distributors, generators, starters, etc. I have never had more fun in my life than with my Morris!
