Maybe you can get White Toner and fill up one of the other cartridges. Print your shirt with White Toner first, Bake the image in then put the original color cartridges back into the printer and reprint your image. This might be a workaround.
Haha that’d be a fun experiment. I feel like if it didn’t work, it could get messy 😄
Just a heads up, there is max software. Very hard to find, as their website is a nightmare. I’ve had mine 2 years and only is it on macs

I have this printer and it works great, but your right the software is so outdated but the printer is a rebadged Ricoh R100 the software is even made by Ricoh but roland won't update it to latest verison that ricoh have with more features. Tried using the Ricch software but some kind of driver issue stops it. Great video by the way.
I think the cost difference makes up for the lack of update on the software lol

Horrible! Regret my purchase! So embarrassing when everyone washed their shirts and it looked 20 years old.

It is a bit hard to judge if this is a budget friendly printer when you omit the price of the thing.
I actually thought you could do that with most $50 printers

No option for white ink, can't print on black shirts, not compatible with a Mac. I think I'll look for something else. Great for beginners with Windows, though.
Now print some dye sublimated keyboard keycaps.

No white is a deal-breaker. Statistically, black shirts are the most popular, and other popular colors are Navy, grey/sport are also way up there in popularity. Too bad.

EPSON is the industry standard for t shirt printers but cost $13k. They also finance.
I found others at $18-50K. They *usually* are quite expensive

The inks wash out after 20 washes? What kind of inks are they? Dye sub or something else? If they are dye sublimation then you need to use a polyester or a 60/40 poly/cotton blend. You can print dye sublimation directly to cotton. I wouldn't trust this machine as any kind of business oriented use. A total waste of money.
Starts to fade after 20 washes. It is a direct to garment printer, prints on 100% cotton, minimum of 70% cotton. I run these, and sublimation printers, these are a whole different level.
We set the inks with a heat press and they do not fade and it prints on 100% cotton. Excellent resolution and colors that really pop. Well worth the money if you have a market and smaller designs are getting more popular and its great for kids stuff.
