Hello how are you, first of all thank you for sharing your knowledge of great help. I'm from Chile, I bought the Roland BT-12, but I have a problem. The white sweatshirts are marked by the oven's iron, rather it burns, and I'm working at 170º, can you help me please?
Have you ever had weird bleeding issues with this printer? Every now and then I'll get a weird color bleed on my prints or text will have a 3D effect where it looks like the same letter is printed twice, but one slightly above it. I use vivid print, which does a double print, but it shouldn't be doing that 3D effect. It started happening recently after 2 months of daily use. I'd say about 1 out of every 10 or so prints. Ran a nozzle check, everything is perfect. Just did the routine required maintenance too.
Ye pretty sure its the cassette, only when u do vivid or fine with a second pass right? When u put a garment in there if there is to much bunched up on the frame of the cassette it can force the print area down
@@DaPrintHouse I actually only do vivid so I'm not sure if it would do it on fine, which is 1 pass. As for the garment bunching, I'm pretty careful about flattening everything out and pressing it to make sure everything is even. I'll keep an eye on it, but do you have any other ideas? I'll probably contact Roland tomorrow. Also, it only happens on some letters and not others of the same shirt, not sure if that helps any. Earlier I had one with a random bleed too.. the first print didnt have that bleed, just the 3D effect. 2nd one had less 3D (but still there) and color bleed on the image. Thanks for the reply.
Have you ever had an error code 20252? My printer is unable to print at all and the error code is present. We opened the side of the printer and see ink is leaking out when the printer first gets turned on and the display shows loading ink, then error 20252.
@@davidh5172The first printer that arrived had a double printing issue. I called Roland immediately and sent them a photo. Next day Roland sent me a return shipping label and UPS picked up the boxes. The replacement printer works perfectly. This is a known issue. I was told it is the shuttle sensor.
Hi, thanks for the video. My bt12 is coming up 'ink collector is not set' but it's in the right place and I have tried changing the unit. It has always worked but after leaving it for two weeks, this message came up. I was wondering if you have any advice?

Where to buy a sheet of that white foam material?

Hi, try cleaning the contacts on ink collector with alcohol and resetting it

havnt seen that message. do a main clean on head and auto see if you get that again
